PATIENCE!! It is worth it.....
Thank you for the great customer service...I bought this screen to replace my granddaughters broken one after my husband dropped it accidentally ...The replacement came quickly, my husband put the new one in but noticed the white metal piece that surrounds it was cracked. He also had those white lines, so he took it all apart and installed it again even though the bracket was broken he figure he could glue it,..still had the white line, I really think it was just a bad one..I messaged them and they sent me a new replacement, it was here within a day! My husband said I'm not bothering its not worth it! I decided to give it a try and its perfect! It requires patience and good eyes and good lighting , and a very careful light touch. The you tube video is a must, there's NO WAY I could have done this without it. For 40.00 it was worth it, and I would buy this again from this seller, thanks for standing by your product and sending me the new one. I did test it before I snapped the screen on to be sure no white lines, its perfect!!! YAY!!!!!

You can do it, I'm not saying it's easy!
It worked! And since you can no longer by the ipod touch and it is our families alternative to give children under 13 a cell phone which seems insane to me it was worth the effort!I freaked out because the YouTube video is repairing a 5 and essentially the 5, 6, and 7 are all the same except there was no little orange tab for me to loop back around the home button so I wasn't sure until we charged it up and powered it on if it would work or not. Miraculously it did! I bought an Otter box before even charging it because I was never able to get it to fully close after disassembling the device. The case works basically like Vadar's mask so the kids know they can never remove it! Set aside reading glasses, mini magnetic screw drivers and about three hours in addition to this product. You can do it!

Waste of Money!
I replaced the digitizer and screen and now the i-pod is completely dead. It worked with a cracked screen. Everything seemed to plug in ok. Make sure you have some good tweezers for the last connection. It is a difficult job. Waste of $40. Should have just put the $ toward a new unit.

Forget the Apple store!
My son broke his Ipod 6 Touch and no place around will fix it. Apple stores makes no promises to not just wipe the whole thing and refurb it, and he didn't want to lose all his stuff. I figured, for $40, I'd take a shot with this kit.It worked perfectly! It had all the tools (though I used my very sharp pocket knife once or twice) needed plus very detailed colored instructions with high quality pictures. Really, it was just a matter of following the directions and using a little common sense. If I had one suggestion ( and this isn't a knock on the vendor, it's on Apple), it's that it took MUCH longer than a minute with the heat gun to loosen the adhesive to get started.I paid close attention to other reviews and spent extra time making sure the two ribbon cable connectors were well seated before reassembly, and tested it before snapping the case closed. No white stripes and everything was in order. This was a great investment, and the screen looks like new also. I've seen reviews for other units that complain the screen is too dark, but this one looks factory. If you're inclined to try your own repairs, this kit is a winner!

Aggravating
The glass screen and digitizer worked out perfectly. The tool kit was usless. Not so easy to install. I followed along with a video on YouTube. The first step was to heat up the lower part of the screen to soften the adhesive. I kept heating and trying to work the screen up. Just this step broke every one of the pry tools and I still couldn't get the glass up. The suction cup was also useless. I ended up using a very thin pointed steak knife in order to finally free the screen up. After the screen was up and released then you have to unscrew like 18 little screws . Neither of the screwdrivers that came in the kit fit any of the screws . In the end I was able to improvise and did get the screen replaced. If you follow along with the video it is possible to do it and I did , but it would be helpful to have small skinny fingers and good eyesight to be able to see these tiny little parts. They wanted $100 to do it at one of the kiosks at the mall. The kit cost me forty bucks. So to me it was worth the aggravation. Good luck to all that try.

Cracked Screen, but not working has usual
The package was brought in a few days ago, we was working to get my iPod Touch 7th Gen fixed. One important flaw that is the screen was cracked on both sides. The con of this, a professional SHOULD fix this! The Pro, with these replacement screens, you should be careful of fixing it at the right pace(for those who want to learn, look up YouTube.). I truly recommend this product if they are a pro at fixing a iPod Touch.

It works!
I’ve been meaning to fix my highschool iPod for the longest but I finally did it and I’m so glad I got to look back at all those highschool memories. I fixed it myself with the help of a YouTube video

Patience required
My daughter's ipod touch was ran over on accident by a car. The installation was a bit tricky since it was my first time doing this. Patience goes a long way and watching videos also helps if you've never replaced a screen before. Needless to say, I can't say that this product works as intended because the ipod did not turn on. Like I mentioned before the ipod was ran over, so I'm not sure if anything else was damaged. The end result after the installation of the screen was perfect. It looked like a brand new ipod. It was a risk I was willing to take because of the price of the screen.
