Audio-Technica AT2020USB-X Cardioid Condenser USB Microphone

Been using on my windows PC for a while now and I love it. Sound quality is great. USB makes it so easy to use.

Solid built quality with a heavy feel and a very nice desk top stand This thing is beautifully made. I just plugged it and it works. Nothing else to install. In addition I also plugged in my headphones to listen to the playback. Ok it can pick up some outside sounds like a leaf blower going on outside my house or rustles around you but as long as your recording room is very quiet this microphone works very well without having to spend huge amount of money. I am this using for video voiceovers on with Cyberlink video editing software. . It works with virtually an program. I even used my NCH Voxal Voice changer software with this and it works beautifully. I have to see if it can be made to work with my iPad also, but I am told I would need a powered USB hub for that as this needs power to work and the iPad does not have enough power. I am so happy I am going to go look at what else they have.

Sounds amazing, easy to install, just plugged and play in a Mac.

As someone just starting out with content creation, this mic has been a solid performer. It’s super easy to set up, sounds crisp, and works great for YouTube clips and casual videos. If you're doing full-scale podcasts or pro audio work, you might want to upgrade—but for small creators like me, it's more than enough. Clean audio without breaking the bank!

The mic itself is great, both build and sound quality, but everything else in the box isn’t. The stand is a pain to get into a good position, and if the weight distribution is even slightly off, the mic will fall over. You can get a boom arm instead, but because the mic will be naked it is very susceptible to shock and vibrations.

I just got my first couple hours out of this mic, and I gotta say the audio quality is superb for the price point. I haven’t owned a microphone before that’s sounded nearly as good, especially out of the box without any post-processing. Setup is also really simple, just plug it in through USB or through USB-C with the included adapter, and then optionally plug a pair of headphones into the mic to passthrough sound and mic playback. The mic is also RGB lit and reacts to if it’s muted or not, which adds to the aesthetic if that’s important to you, and has a small touch-based button to mute/unmute. It’s a great piece of hardware from the time I spent with it but if anything changes I’ll come back to this review.

Great sounding mic! I'm a professional engineer and my son wanted a mic to do some recording with. After hours of research I landed on this mic. The price point was great and so were the reviews. I was not disappointed. The audio quality is perfect for vocals as well as recording an instrument. I was happy to find out that it also worked with his Android tablet. It sees it as an audio interface, so all audio I/O goes through the mic (since it has a headphone output). I highly recommend this mic for a lower end mic.

Audio quality is great, however the USB-C male connector chipped only after a few weeks of use. I unplug my mic every night and was surprised how quickly the power port has deteriorated.

Amazing sound comes out of this thing

Excelente para captação de voz, tem que usar meio "de ladinho" ou com um pop bom, assim como todo USB ele "pufa" um pouco, mas isso resolve. No mais, tá na lida substituindo um Rode NT2A. Esse 2020 é tão bom que comprei uma versão XLR pra deixar de backup. Vale a pena. Ps: p pop filter que está na foto NAO ACOMPANHA o produto. Na época da minha compra a foto era só do Mic, suporte de mesa e cabo, e é isso que vem, não vem pop filter.

VCで友達と電話したりする分にはUSBに刺すだけで設定無しで使えるのですごく手軽に使えます。 キーボードに手が届かなくてもマイク側のボタンでもミュートが行えるのが嬉しいポイント XLR版を所持していないので音質の差は分かりませんが、ゲーム実況とかセリフ撮りレベルなら問題どころか環境音が鮮明過ぎるほど撮れます。 煩わしいオーディオインターフェースを使用せずに利用できるのがかなり便利です。 しかし、便利さとは引き換えに、この商品は逆立ちしてもオーディオインターフェースには刺せません。 エレキギターなど、楽器の録音や歌ってみたなど極めて高い音質が求められるものをを結果的にやりたい人は、結局オーディオインターフェースが必須なので、私が購入した時よりもかなりマイクの商品自体が値上がりしており、買い直しは気軽にできるものではないので、最初からXLR端子の方を買った方がいいかもしれません。

Super easy to setup; it was just plug and play for me. This is my first dedicated microphone that I've gotten, but it's worked really well for me -- for recording vocals, voiceovers, etc. Has a fairly neutral frequency response (but look up the graph yourself :P)

El sonido es bueno, el único detalle en contra es que el audio se llega a saturar si el micrófono está cerca de tu boca y dicha saturación es muy notoria, además al ser un micrófono USB, sus grabaciones son con mucha latencia, lo que podría afectar si tu objetivo es grabar canciones con el. (Recomiendo más la versión XLR de este micrófono)
