Comfortable grip and great control
I have always been one to just use a "house paddle" if I was going somewhere that had a ping pong table, but after using a friend of mine's paddle and seeing how much it improved my game, I decided it was time to get one of my own. From what I can tell this was a great choice. Out of the box: There were no defects on the carrying bag so that is always a great start. (Also love the little ping pong paddle shaped zipper tab... it's the little things.) The Paddle itself was free of any defects. The pads were firmly attached and there was no flapping. Same goes for the fabric that runs the edge of the paddle. After Use: At first I was concerned because the paddle gave an almost hollow sounding noise after hitting a ball, almost as if the plywood was loosely adhered together. HOWEVER I did not notice any lack of performance or any play that was out of the ordinary. So far I have loved the control it gives me and allows for a boat load of spin to be put on the ball. I knew it was a good paddle when I won my first game with it over someone I had never beat before. Overall: Highly recommend. Great feel and control over the ball, comes with a nice case, comfortable, and looks nice. I will update in the future if it starts to fall apart prematurely.

Great playing paddle. A few minor cosmetic improvements would make it beautiful too!
***UPDATE*** 5/8/19 - After 3.5 months of moderate playing (15-20 games a week) the rubber has started to come off the blade some. Will probably have to look to replace the rubber within a month or so. Still love the paddle though! I am a huge fan of this paddle. I was trying to decide between this and the Butterfly 401. Ultimately, I decided to take a chance on this new company's paddle, and I am glad I did. It plays great. I grew up playing recreational Table Tennis and have recently begun playing competitively (after 10 years of not playing at all). Last week I went to the local club and was dominated while using my cheap Academy Sports paddle. I decided to get this paddle (along with 50 practice balls) and spent 30 minutes a day or so practicing my serves. Well, last night I went back to the club and I hung with and beat the same players who beat me consistently last week. Practice helped, sure... but I get great spin out of this paddle and find it to be quite forgiving too. As far as appearance, Overall, the racket is aesthetically beautiful. I think the guard edge tape around the blade isn't quite wide enough to really cover up some of the jaggedness of the sponge. Again, I won't complain and I'll definitely recommend this paddle to friends, but just thought it would be worth mentioning. Being new to competitive Table Tennis, I am not sure if there is a standard width for the guard edge tape or not but if not, it would definitely be nicer to have it a little wider. Thanks Thunderline for helping me hang with some of my new club and I look forward to progressing a lot with this paddle.

Great price
This is great all around racket and provides a good amount of spin. The only issue is the rubber started pulling away from the wood after only a week of play(which is why it’s not 5 stars). I used a good amount of super glue which solved the problem. The grip has stayed good after a month of use I just clean with a small amount of water with a microfiber cloth and that seems to work well.

Beyond happy and impressed.
This bat is exactly as described; fast, sticky and high quality. Considering it's less than half the price of a comparable bat, there's no reason not to try it. Worst case, you have it as a solid back up or for whomever you're playing, but most likely, you'll find this to be an advanced (enough) bat for your play style. It took me a couple weeks of play to adjust to how fast the ball comes off, but once I harnessed the spin and adjusted to the speed, I would be surprised if I don't continue to use this bat for a long time. Also, it's very attractive.

Professional Performance and an Affordable Price Point - With a Case !!
OK, so we have always used like the better big box store paddles "Prince inverted sandwich nipple" paddles and others. I wanted to see if stepping up to a more expensive paddle would actually be any different? You can't just buy good paddles at any store but you can find any paddle you want on Amazon! So, for starters I purchased two more expensive paddles. First the Stiga Evolution (96-94-90) Speed-Spin-Control respectively, then I ordered the Thunderline 6 Star Premium (90-88-86) I have to say that I have gravitated towards the Thunderline exclusively and my game has improved so much that I am thinking about buying an ITTF approved Donic ping pong table. If you are like me this paddle will really make a difference in how much fun you have playing "Table Tennis" Just the right combination of Speed, Spin and Control. Go for it !!

GREAT PADDLE
This paddle was bought for my father who is a beginner at ping pong and absolutely LOVED this paddle. It comes with a very sleek case to protect the pads on the paddle and very easy to control. I reached out to them because I had a question, and I was very pleased with their quick response! If you look at their description they have "4 Reasons why this paddle is the best choice for you" and I'm happy to say that they meet those expectations, and their customer service was just as exceptional as their product. Thanks Thunderline!

Great paddle for beginners/intermediate players!
I've always liked playing ping pong but I recently decided to take my game a little more seriously and needed my own paddle to practice and this one did not disappoint! I really love the amount of grip and control and the pretty sturdy carrying case that comes with it for the price. It's a little hefty, definitely not the lightest paddle I've use, but I would still recommend this to anyone who wants to get a more serious paddle but doesn't want to pay a serious price.

Will improve your game
This is a well balanced paddle with a good feel. It allows for both extra spin and more power. The case is nice as well. I deducted one star because the padding started peeling after a month (I was able to glue it back into place so not a big deal).
