This statement is far from the truth. 4X would mean 160 minutes, because my Kobalt 40V 3.0Ah battery run time was 40 minutes.Battery Specifications】Type: Lithium-ion | Voltage: 40V | Capacity: 6000mAh | Watt: 240W | Pack: 1 Pack,Delivers up to 4X the run time than Kobalt 40V 3.0Ah battery. .i purchased this battery for my Kobalt electric lawnmower. The Kobalt battery last about 40 minutes but it takes me an hour and 20 to cut my lawn. Figured this battery would be the answer, fully charge them both and then i would be able cut full lawn during one cuttings. First 3 weeks perfect plan but i started to notice the battery was not lasting as long. Once, i thought is was maybe my grass was too high and that may have strained the battery. But all the while, the power was getting shorter and shorter. Went out today to trim the grass, yea i said trim just clip the edges, not hard work for the mower or me, battery lasted 15 minutes fully charged according to the indicator light. finally decided this was not working so i went to return and wa la the "return" had expired. yea not good for me, but its a blessing for you. Because if i had returned it, i most likely would not have written this review. So i say again, do not purchase this battery.

It was a perfect fit for my 40v Kobalt lawnmower . The price wasn't outrageous either. It came with a charge, but waiting on my charger to give it a full charge. Would recommend.

I had seen mixed feedback on these batteries, suggesting that they might not work with older Kobalt tools because of slight changes in the battery design. Received this battery yesterday, charged overnight and it worked fine in my Kobalt KM 2041B-06 mower (40v, 20-in deck) from 3-4 years ago.The battery does not last quite as long as my OEM 6MAh battery, but for the price it's a good value and provides plenty of extra runtime to get through my larger lawn. I'll try to remember to update at the end of the season on how the charge holds up after weekly usage & recharging all summer.

The battery charges and runs exactly as it should.

I bought this in 23.It worked great for 2 years.This year, it won't even charge.I expect a decline in charge capacity over time, but all out zero charge ability is very disappointing.The original kobalt batteries, now 5 years old, still charge and to 80% of their original capacity 5 years ago.I THINK THIS BATTERY IS A DEFECTIVE PRODUCT. I realize it's out of warranty but expected a decline in performance not completely unable to charge.

Needed to buy a replacement battery pack for my electric lawn mower and this works great, and a bonus cause it actually last longer then the original equipment.
