Working well so far and the cover stays on.
It is doing the job it is intended to do. The cover seems to be sturdy enough and so far stays on the mount. The mount could be stronger or maybe a steel bezel inside to spread the load from the screws. It works, just not sure it will have a long life against the siding. The bars at the opening are quite weak but seem to be strong enough to keep birds out. (my main concern). It will not stop 4 legged animals. If you need that go with a steel unit.

Looks good
Looks great when up. It is plastic and will require you to chaulk around. My location is in the shade so it will not crack of yellow. It looks very modern.

Very Stylish, But
I had one of those tin flappers that was basically screwed into my siding. That caused distortion so the flapper never closed properly. This vent is two piece rigid plastic. To get it to sit flush with the siding, I used a 4-inch electrical box outlet designed to hold a light fixture. I just cut out the bottom of the box and this vent slipped right in. I know it looks a bit funky, but I now have a solid set up. So, why the 1 star ding? Because the installer popped the unit apart and broke off all the mounting pins. They are really tiny and easy to break off. This meant I had to buy a second vent and it turns out they have no quality control as to color. Both vents were ordered as white but the 2nd one is more on the almond shade. You cannot really tell from the photo, but it's really noticable to the eye. Easy fix would be to paint it or replace the base, easiest is to just ignore it.

Top and bottom...
Apparently there is a specific top-and-bottom to this as well as left-to-right.Easy to install and looks good. Unfortunately I got it upside down the first time so had to unscrew it and rotate it 180⁰ to get the cover to fit back into place. Not a big deal, it's just more of an inconvenience than anything. The flap appears to move freely and closes when no airflow is present keeping critters out. Overall a good product.

Cheap, brittle, plastic
Product description states "durable construction". This product is made from three pieces of cheap plastic with very tiny and delicate tabs that hold the three pieces together. The internal flapper door was broken inside of the packaging. One side of the hinge pin was broken and missing, and it was not inside the packaging. The writing on the package states that the contents are ABS Plastic. This is not the case. It won't hold up to basic assembly, much less outdoor use on the side of a building.

Low profile
This is a really nice vent. We moved our stove to a different area and haven’t painted our house yet. But this will fit the color eventually and is pretty incognito. I hated to have to add a hole to the side of the house, but you really don’t notice it. Works great.

Technically works
Works okay, but the closing flap is a joke. Remove it, and buy a proper back draft stopper.
