These things are so useful for making tank backgrounds, definitely recommend if you want to use it for that. It's also a good amount for the price.

I bought this for my 4 budgies. I broke the piece in half and they were terrified by the size of it. So I broke it into much smaller pieces. 6" x 2" seems to be a good size for them. I was able to drill holes into the cork and then use plastic rings to clip it to the side of the cage. At first the birds ignored it, but once I put millet next to it, they eventually decided they like it. The two females seem to like to nibble it more than the males. I like that it takes them longer to destroy than their other favourites - seagrass mats and the yucca chew slices. After around a week they have only stripped off the top layer of bark. So this will last a while because there are two large pieces included. I bought this because one of my budgies has hyperkeratosis (overgrowth of the cere) and I read that this can help wear that down. So far no luck, because she is just using her beak and not rubbing her cere on the cork.

These are great quality, nice and thick, slightly rounded. Used one for reptiles and one for an art project and they were perfect for both!

I mounted a fern in this with fishing line and moss. Looks fantastic! The cork is very lightweight. I can soak it without worrying it will mildew. Love it!

I've owned budgies for 5+ years now and out of all the toys and enrichment activities (I've done MANY), this was by far their most favorite "toy". I put this corkboard in the cage and within a week, it gets completely shredded. My birds are completely obsessed with it. They'll ignore all the other toys and enrichment I give them for this thing. I mean they're ignoring things like: their play gym, fountain bath, foraging box, treat tray, cat grass, driftwood tree, etc. I've spent so much more on all these other things and they thing they obsess over is this corkboard. At least it's good for trimming their beaks and nails. Highly recommend! Just keep in mind it'll make a mess as they shred it.

Good, solid pieces are cork bark that suited my purpose of being an interesting backing board for some staghorn ferns. Only issue I had was the small colony of ants that fell from the bark when I had to cut it to size. It's a bit annoying to have those ants scattering throughout your living room, which was a poor location choice on my part, but does reinforce the fact that the bark is real and natural

Our bird loves it! Our bird is 250gm and loves to bite and climb these. They have real dirt on them so I just gave them a rinse before I game them to her. They are easy to break us smaller vertical pieces.

As described, I used one in the tank with the snake and I used one broken, a half in as a B landing or bug landing or bird landing in the birdbath. I’m not sure how long it’ll last, but works good so far.
