Great tool for creating custom length, high quality coax cables
I built a MoCA network to provide high-speed internet and intranet connectivity throughout my home over the existing coax cables. In order to do this correctly, I needed to terminate some unused cables in my junction box, as well as create some short "jumper cables" to go between a few devices. While some reviewers noted that the included coax terminals were not of great quality, they were more than sufficient for my needs. Others commented that instructions were not provided or were difficult to follow, and I agree that the included instructions were not the most complete. However, I had already viewed several YouTube videos on how to properly terminate coax cables before I ordered this kit, that I didn't need any further instructions. As a DIY kind of guy, this is a great kit to have around, and the cost is crazy cheap without being low quality. I would feel totally comfortable using these to help a friend wire an entire home with coax. It takes almost no time to go from a freshly cut piece of coax to a properly terminated end, and is easily repeated with almost no room for error.

Works great once you learn to set it up correctly
not the best instructions. I struggled to get this working correctly as the instructions are, like most foreign products, below par. However, I found a video online that showed exactly how to set it up and then it has worked like a champ. Great for the price if like me you are only going to do a few connectors here and there. Probably would not hold up to frequent use.

Modifications made simple
Convenient and handy to have to make your own cable lengths.

Works and works very well.
I'm hard to impress but with this product I am impressed. It required no adjustment to use. Sometimes they do.If you are still deciding about which style, crimper or compression to buy, I strongly suggest compression. It took me longer to walk to the door and open the package than it it did to make to short patch cords with 4 connectors. Those were then tested at zero signal loss pre & post swap. If you watch the product video you too can be making your own cables in about 5 minutes. I can not address the long term durability of a tool I've only owned for 20 hours or so but the quality appears to be there so I suspect the compression tool will serve the DIY person for as long as they need it. The wire stripper like most things made of plastic will be the first to require replacement but it should last for quite a few jobs.

Inexpensive but does the job.
I had never worked with RG6 before, but this kit helped me terminate 3 cable ends properly on the first try. The cutter/stripper directions are a little vague. I started with the blade depth at minimum, then increased it by small amounts until correct. Pretty easy overall.

average toolset
I've found the Wire Stripper tool to be a bit finicky when cutting, so it's a good idea to have some extra cable length on hand. You might need a few attempts to get a clean cut. On the other hand, the Cable Crimper works okay. Overall, it's an average toolset that gets the job done, but may require some patience.

This kit was a lifesaver!
We just finished gutting our 122-year-old house, and when we moved back in, we found that the contractor had neglected to put the metal ends on any of our Internet cables. It took an act of Congress to get our Internet company to come out in the first place and do the initial set up of our Internet and so I was having majoring anxiety about having to call them and wait for months for them to put on the end. And then my very handy friend suggested that I look for a kit that would allow me to put them on myself. She knows about all of the things that you never knew you wanted to know about. LOL Well, I found this kit it had great reviews I had seen it used in a YouTube video that was a tutorial and so I bought it best purchase ever! It’s easy to use, the ends are easy to install, and the finished look is as if somebody that knew what the heck they were doing did it. I’ve recommended it to other people since I purchased and used it and I can’t say enough good things about this kit. It has everything you need to replace the ends of your coax. I had to do some research into what coax I had and that type of thing to make sure I was getting the right kit.(I was.) But that was the hardest part of this whole situation. If you, too, are needing to replace the ends of your coax cable, definitely check this kid out. It was easy peezy to use, and I’m super pleased with it! And my internet actually works even tho I installed the ends!!

Works, but directions could be better
In the past I had done all of my coax cable ends with the twist on connectors. I was never very happy with those. So I bought this in hopes that crimping the joints would be better. And they are. I think, but time will tell. It is the directions that could use improvement ! It took my 4 tries to get a successfully crimped connection. Take Step 10 of the directions seriously and make sure you get the cable inserted all the way before attempting to crimp. It took quite a lot of effort and time and serious pushing of the cable to get that right. The videos do not stress this enough or show clearly how far the cable has to be inserted.
