Does EXACTLY what it claims to do! I bought these to pair up with our Eneloop rechargeable AA & AAA set/kit. Now we can use our LED camping lanterns and fans that use C and D cells. No more one-time use, expensive C or D cells batteries to buy every time we head out to camp. AA and AAA batteries are more common, abundant, cheaper and weighs less. New technology make most of our battery operated gear very energy efficient, therefore does not require C or D cells anymore.

These adapters couldn’t be much simpler. Just insert aa batteries until you hear the “click” indicating the battery is locked in place. Then insert into your device that takes d cell batteries. It should be noted these are not perfect. Even after the batteries click in place it doesn’t take much to rattle them free, so be careful. Also because the bottom/negative of this adapter will literally just be the bottom of the aa cell, these won’t work in EVERY d cell application. For example: larger maglite flashlights require a larger battery contact for the spring in the flashlight to make contact. The spring in a maglite is too large to make contact with a aa battery. It should be noted both of these issues are remedied with higher quality adapters such as the eneloop aa to d adapters. Those adapter have a lower section that unscrews allowing you to insert the battery, then screwing the bottom section back on. This allows the battery to both be fully secure in the adapter, and means the adapter has a much larger negative contact for larger springs. However it should also be noted these adapters are on average 10x the price of these, so know ahead of time their limitations. Overall for the price, while not perfect, these are a great value. Recommended!

Great product, super value for the money. These adapters allow you to use 1 rechargeable or regular AA battery in place of a D size battery. No more D battery purchases! Thank you! These adapters are great for older flashlights and electronics that require the D cell batteries. These use 1 AA cell. For reference, the AA size lithium ion 14500 rechargeable 3.7V cells fit these perfectly and AA battery blank spacers also fit these perfectly.

When you insert a battery the moving tip of the adapter is supposed to be pushed out so that it can make contact with the next battery/prong,... As you see in the pictures, with an AA battery inside and the moving part pushed by the battery, the metal head is still behind the plastic part and when I inserted that inside my flash light it was not working. Good price and pretty good quality but the design (physical dimensions of the parts) has a flaw.

Es una excelente alternativa para disminuir los costos de baterías, lo he probado en un calentador Kruger, dos baterías del conejo normales y hasta ahora va 1 mes funcionando sin tema alguno, tambien lo probe en una pistola Nerf automática (esta si con las baterías premium del conejo) y funciono sin problemas.

Son carcasas de plástico con un remache para hacer contacto y una estampa a veces medio mal pegada...... Pero no necesitas nada más. Sirven muy bien. Te sacan del apuro. Ya compré 2 porque la familia me las roba.
