Nice and rigid

Used this shelf installed backward on a wall for modem & router. Works well for the application.

I use this shelf to hold things on my extendable network rack on my desk [Basically a glorified shelf at this point]. Fits perfectly within the rack. The rack holds my AMP+DAC and power distribution unit for speakers, amp, lights, USB chargers, etc. The shelf I received had bent ears. I bent them back and was happy. [I did not use the included age nuts. They appeared to work fine if needed]

Don't buy. This came bent. Was sorta able to make it fit but takes up 1 and 1/3 U

Well finished and robust unit. It was however not ideal. The stiffening flange at front and back project into the rack space below the shelf. This is a less than ideal way of stiffening the shelf because you must be careful about what you place in the rack space below the shelf. In my case this was the bottom of the rack so the flange interfered with the bottom of the rack preventing the shelf from fitting properly. I fixed the issue by cutting the flange off and then adding a stiffening rib to the top side of the shelf.

Shelf is NOT 1u. Front edge is bent downward taking up space needed for the next piece of equipment. Does feel like a sturdy shelf of you have the extra space for it.

Arrived and worked as expected.
