On December 28th I ordered the 28-oz barrel of hard pretzels and paid $5.84 was going to see about reordering them and you want $11.56 what gives

A couple of months ago I purchased the nuggets barrel for $8.98 (reasonable-ish) - today it's over $18 for the same product (ridiculous). I know food prices are going up, but not 100%! I haven't heard about any nationwide pretzel shortage...

Approximately how many pretzels per jar?

I order this often and although there are broken pretzels, I received more than 80% of the 3.25 lbs were whole pretzels. There were large pieces that had broken in half or thirds, but none were pulverized to the point of dust or fragments and all pieces whole or not had a lot of good salt. These pretzels are amazing quality and my Amazon delivery is always on point. Couldn't say how many are in the barrel but there are a lot of pretzels in it after all it's over 3 pounds where as bags in store tend to be ounces to one pound. There are plenty of good size pieces and whole pretzels for decorating, dipping, eating with cheese, or by themselves. I say well worth the buy. The barrel says there are 52 1oz servings per barrel and each 1oz is about 5 pretzels so a good rough estimate is you'll have about 260 pretzels in your barrel now if 80% are whole and not broken, then you'd still have about 208 whole pretzels.

What are the ingredients?

I have the Utz Sour Dough Hard Pretzels... Wheat, flour, salt, malt syrup, yeast, sugar, baking soda. Also note that this product is made in a facility that uses sesame seeds, and made in a peanut and tree nut free facility.
