I had a Catalyst case for my old phone so when I got a new one, I had to get another Catalyst. I dropped my old phone at least a dozen times and it survived every time except the last one when I fell on top of it with my whole weight with it face down on concrete and cracked the screen. With this new case, I also sprung for a screen protector. I've dropped my new phone at least several times at various angles and heights (once in the garage when I rested it at the edge of my Ford pickup) and it's good as new.
