We purchased this for our safety team. We have a good amount of radios and running individual chargers was causing organization and space issues. This solved our problem, now we can have the radios all charged and be more organized and efficient with our outlets and wires. Recommended!

Consolidates a bunch of individual charging units. Just got it so I don't know how well it will hold up. So far so good. It does cost much more than similar units for other brands.

After purchasing our first set of 8 radios, we loved them so much we purchased another set of 8. I purchased the 2 X 6 charger with the first order and loved it as well. With the second order I decided to get the single row 6 unit charger. I failed to notice that the single row charger is for the FPCN10A and not the FPCN30A. I contacted Samcom by email when the single row charger would not charge my FPCN30A units. They contacted me back immediately and pointed out the problem. This company is very responsive and awesome to work with. I hope this may prevent someone else from making the same mistake that I did. UPDATE: We just purchased our 3rd set of these radios. They are absolutely awesome. We are a food production plant so our radios get quite a bit of abuse. We now have 22 radios in use every day and not one has ever given us a problem. You can't beat these radios and their accessories.

We have six with the longer antennas. We are working in western NC on storm damage. They work great in the mountains as long as you are within 1-2 miles of each unit. That’s pretty good for being in the Smokey Mountains. The battery life is excellent! They. Lip tightly on our climbing gear! There are several accessories for these radios that we all so use.

I work at a construction company, so when we started using Samcom's FPCN30A radios (previously used FPCN10A, which this charger is NOT for), I was letting my team keep their individual chargers. Well, of course they started forgetting to charge their radios, to great annoyance to various team members. So, I ordered this charger and collected the radios at the end of every shift to be charged. This thing is a BEAST. It charges the radios in a little under an hour, it's quiet and even has indicators to let you know which radios are good to go. I'd argue it's faster than the chargers that come with the radios. The build quality is absolutely top notch (like all Samcom products I've used). The good thing is the power supply can be detached, which makes it convenient for travel. If you run any kind of business that uses Samcom radios, this is a must-have. It keeps everything neat and tidy, and always lets your guys know which radios are okay to take for the day.
