Small lead shot with a sturdy bag.
I am using this 5 lb weight as a modeling weight to hold down plywood and thin balsa while i glue them down. The black bag is a very sturdy material that will last a long time. It is stitched closed. These bags are very useful when you need to spread the weight out over a larger area.

Using for weight in a robotics project
I needed lead weight for a robotics project of mine and these seemed pretty good. I ended up cutting the bags open and dumping the shot into a container for the robot. I have no experience with using these for scuba applications but the bags seemed pretty tough when I cut through them.As for the lead: It's heavy.

the size
the size of them is way smaller than you think i was looking for the size of buck shot ... but they are the size of sand grain still can be used to make sinkers of out them just kinda of a pain and the sinkers in para-cord end up being way longer than you really want. save yourself money BUY THEM NO FROM AMAZON for a 1 pounds you can find them online same brand for $6 and they are selling almost 2x on amazon

Used this Lead Shot Weight in my doorstop
Well, I didn't use this weight for scuba diving, instead I used it for my doorstop. I needed a weight for the bottom of a stuffed animal that is a cat, that is marketed as a doorstop, but the manufacturer only put silica beads to weigh the bottom. So, I needed some lead. I bought this little number, took out the silica beads, put this in the bottom, and voila, now my doorstop actually works.

Very versatile
Used the shot to weight the nose of a new rocket. Fine shot and with epoxy molded right in.

Not a bad deal and good for more than just diving
I got this for a totally different reason than most people do. I got this to cast things such as weight for fishing and other things...This bag of 3 lbs (exactly, by the way; I weighed it and it was 3.00 lbs). It's awesome as it contains a stronger form of lead because antimony is part of this and hardens it.The bag that holds the lead is strong as well. It took me a lot more effort to open the bag than I anticipated. It was pretty strong and I'm sure it lends itself well for diving. In all, a good value for hardened lead for fishing weights, casting other things or diving; I imagine.Highly recommended!
