Spent 4 hours running this wire from my livingroom to my bonus room thru cordmate cord concealer. Only to finish and realize it doesn't work. Did not work on my samsung 46 inch 60hz, 40 inch vizio 60hz, toshiba 42 inch 120hz. sure they're all old tv's but also tried on my bedroom samsung led 120hz and still nothing. dusted off my dvd player from 2009 just to give it a try and still nothing. the cord is thin and size is good but it matters not if it doesn't work. what is most frustrating is that i ran the wire at least 80 feet up and around crown moulding, etc. now i'm gonna have to buy new cordmate at the home depot once i have a working untra thin hdmi cord. don't waste you time...so pissed......Dont waste people's time trying to sell items that don't work only to have us return the item and waste our time, energy, etc.

They work! But they are one directional.
I ordered 2 of these for our church so we would have 2 TV displays at the front of our church. Our sound booth is at the back of the church so we needed long hdmi cords to reach. After researching it seemed these cords were the solution. They work, just wish there were instructions for installation. Did not realize they were one directional and that one end was for the source and one end for display. Had to go back to attic to turn them around.2 months later: one of the cords quit working. So back to the attic!!! Changing my stars from 4 to 2.

Works fine but is DIRECTIONAL.
I purchased this 200 foot cable to use for video production. It worked just fine and there was no video degradation from camera to production switcher. The spool looks big in the photos but it came in a small box similar to ethernet cable. These are not heavy duty so I don't know how long they would hold up the way I am using it but so far, works like a charm. One thing I must say is that THIS CABLE IS DIRECTIONAL. It has an INPUT and SOURCE labeled on it so be careful how you install it otherwise you will be upset as it will not work if you don't pay attention. Check it first to make sure before installing in any walls. Other than that, it works fine.

Doesn’t work! Please save your money
Ran this during new construction , went to hook up today and nothing! So upset . Wasted money. We’ve done hdmi’s in our last two other builds and never had issues . First time using this product! Seriously would like my money back! !!! Very ticked off ... BEWARE!! This isn’t a cheap product and it doesn’t work! Also bought in May 2019 and finally setting up August 2019... can’t return something that’s ran behind sheet rock... please be advised To avoid ..

bad cable, won't pass 4k
Does not pass 4k@60hz or even 4k@30hz (Dtek 16m reel of fiber HDMI). I ordered 3 hdmi's from amazon to test which would work and this one would not pass the signal on my desk from a intel NUC to a Dell 27" 4k monitor. The 'Fibr'15m ultra pro and 'Ruipro' 30m Ultra-slim both bassed 4k fine at 60hz and 4:4:4 chroma. Too bad as this Dtech cable is substantially less, but either I got a bad cable or its a case of you get what you pay for.

Great cable at a great price
Used three of these in our church worship center after we couldn't eliminate static interference with Cat5-HDMI baluns. Tried a variety of solutions, and this cable has worked flawlessly since day one. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

No recomendado

Happy to see longer hdmi cables that work
I'm using a 100' fiber HDMI for a mounted camera for several months now and bought the 150' cable for an outdoor church service. Worked great for remote camera.

Works as advertised!
I have a desktop PC on the first floor of a 2-storey building, which displays information on a TV mounted nearby. It was requested that a duplicate of this TV display be available on the second floor. It was not viable to set up a second PC for this purpose, and due to the building layout, the cable run was going to be approximately 150 feet. The current TV resolution is only 1920x1080, but we are planning future upgrades which will involve using 3840x2160 (4K).I considered some options for HDMI over twisted pair (e.g. CAT6) but found that options supporting 4K are both expensive and many are unreliable or may have picture quality concerns. As our data display involves a lot of fine text, quality is important. I decided to try this DTech optical HDMI cable and it solved the problem. I tested it at 3840x2160 in a mock-up before installing it and found it worked as desired. The cable was tough enough to handle being pulled fairly aggressively through some tight conduit with bends.I'm pleased with the product and will definitely buy again if a similar need arises.
