So far the mount has been great. It’s nice and sturdy. Love the 45 degree angle.

Perfect just what I was looking for.

I own several of the more expensive offset light mount brands and I have to say that the Monstrum is a perfect fit and color match to the Streamlight Protac, like it was made for it. It fits snug on the hand guard and is a an excellent match to the Cloud Defense tape switch mount. If you are running a short handguard, it sits perfectly next to the switch mount without bumping into it. It was one of those rare occasions where a bunch of different parts seamlessly worked together. Best part, the light mount is half the price of of the more expensive brands.

Day one of the ownership: No issues with the mount itself. Nice clean finish that interfaces well with the surefire scout light body with no visible tooling marks noted. No directions were needed, or included, but it would be nice to have the recommended torque specs included somewhere in the packaging. Some of the included hardware was either poorly designed or quality control was not up to specifications. The screws included to mount the 45* offset to my surefire scout lightbody were just a little bit long. They were bottoming out on the body of the light before for the screw to *45 offset made full. This required a little bit of sandpaper to take a few thousands off the end of the screw. Everything was tighten down to 20 inch pounds as a starting point. Have not taken it to the range yet. Will report back if any issues are had.

Solid mount. I'd trust it for medium-heavy use.

I rarely write a review but in this case I had to make an exception. This is an outstanding product, easy to install, and above all, a must if you want to set up your flashlight correctly on an AR 15 platform. And a great price to boot! Exceptional in every way. Congrats to the maker. A+++++++++

Fits great on a Streamlight Protac HL-X. Yeah, the screws backed out after like 200 shots, but just apply some Blue Loctite and this thing will last much much longer.

I use this mount with a Streamlight Pro-Tac 1000 and it works perfectly. It allows me to deploy my front sight. It also mounts the light closer to the fore end without interfering with the front sight at all or sticking off the side of the gun the way a picatinny mount does. It's also WAY cheaper than the well known Scout Mount for Streamlight.
