I have given this drum set as a gift to a few toddlers. I still have my daughters and she’s a teenager. I like that it comes with other musical instruments and can be stored inside.

Second one I purchased for my second child…so fun, but watch them with the drum sticks…

Well there are a few changes in design. I bought a set 10 years ago that I liked better. But all in all it's good for the kiddos.

As babies, the instruments have definitely won the reputation of a favorite gift to all the babies I’ve given it to over the years. Aside from the drum being and instant hit ;), It continues to provide lasting, simple, interactive entertainment and enjoyment while promoting development of many areas such as motor skills, decision making, social, clean up, and tool use through the creation of sounds and an intro to music. It was a favorite toy years ago for my much younger sister, then my two children, and numerous other children of family and friends that I’ve gifted this to throughout the years. Lastly, the drum goes out with a bang ;p since parents appreciate it’s self containment doubling as its own storage for it’s drumsticks and other instruments. It’s worth more than it costs, yet more affordable than most gifts, providing all pros, no cons, and overall incredible value. :)

I love this set! It's so cute and seems very durable. The drum is pretty big, my 2 year old granddaughter plays it while it's on the floor. I'm guessing a 4 year old might be able to have it around their neck while standing and play it. The reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that the slide WHISTLE DOESN'T WORK....AT ALL. Hoping it's defective and contacting the maker in hopes of a replacement. UPDATE. 11/17/17......I contacted the company. They were very prompt with their response and are replacing the whistle. :)

We purchased this music set and another one at Christmas time and I was very impressed with the overall quality of this set, especially for the price. When searching for a music set that mixed ages could use, including teething toddlers, I decided to forgo my previous choice of wooden musical instruments; and I'm so glad I did. This set is made of heavy plastic that is both vibrantly colored and seemingly sturdy, there are no small parts that could break and become a choking hazard, and the drum itself is large enough to store the instruments included and then some. The drum also has a strap, that can be worn to aid a child in walking and playing simultaneously; a huge plus for our kids who love marching bands. All in all, I have no negatives about this purchase or the product and I could definitely see myself recommending or purchasing this set again in the future.

I bought this toy for my 10 month old. He loves to bang on toys so why not a drum set to bang on. This is made really well with all of the drums very easy to press and use. It has a volume control which is a plus for baby toys bc they tend to be really loud. It is sensitive to touch, my baby doesn’t need me to press on the drums to use. It has different modes with different sounds, and also a mode where it plays and lights up without touching it. It feels very sturdy well made. My 3 year old loves playing with it also. This brand is one of our household favorites, highly recommend.

I have bought this drum over the years for numerous children. It is fantastic and strong. Lots of rhythmic choices and stores everything neatly inside. Great quality.

A great beginner set to introduce young children to music. Well constructed easy to carry around and bright colours to engage children in discovery.

This set is great. All the items are cute and well made. I do agree with another poster that the drum itself is a tad disappointing as you can see globs of glue where the pieces are glued together. Aside from that cosmetic flaw it's great (and I really don't think my toddler will care about that). All the pieces make good noises except the clacker part of the maraca. It doesn't really clack but its not a big deal to me.
