Chocolate gold coins
I bought these to fill a treasure chest that I bought for my 5 year old grandson. They look great. The chocolate is fairly good, probably a little waxy to help maintain their shape. By comparison to other novelty chocolates I’ve had they’re pretty good.

Used as a prize for a D&D themed party
We used these as game prizes for a D&D themed children's birthday party. Kids loved them, flavor was better than some chocolate coins I've had in the past. Warning, they will melt if held in your hand too long.

Actually tastes good and arrived undamaged.
I bought these chocolate coins with a bit of apprehension due to past experiences with different brands. I am extremely pleased with these. The product was very well packaged and secure, as to not roll and rattle around in the box. Every year i use large choc. coins to make edible ornaments that accompany gifts for loved ones and guests so they must be in perfect shape. ALL of the gold foil on these coins were intact, i could barely believe it! After years of purchasing chocolate coins online, i have always had a handful or more that were ungiftable due to missing or bended foil tops. This bag was perfect. Even getting them out and grouping them to be tied into ornaments didn't produce any loose foil. I have already ordered another bag, here's hoping that the quality stays consistent.

Just ok chocolate.
I was disappointed in the quality of chocolate. It's not waxy Palmer bad but there's definitely a subpar taste.

Good quality
The bag of coins was indeed a full pound, and all were in good condition. The quality of the chocolate is better than I expected, with fairly high cocoa content. It's sweet, soft, and melty, typical of milk chocolate. Rather granular cocoa mass, but the temper is still good. Really, much better than most milk chocolate coins, which either have a poor, waxy temper or easily distemper on the shelf. I prefer dark chocolate, but for kids these are perfect, and I expect to buy them again.

Not Good
Many of wrappers are split at the edges and the chocolate is open and exposed. The ones that were totally sealed still don't taste good, very low quality chocolate. It would have been a better deal to buy the smaller bags from the dollar store for the quality of the chocolate that you're getting.

Decent chocolate for the price
In better condition than the ones I got last year, many of which came unwrapped. But the bag this year looked smaller so I weighed it on a food scale and is it not a full pound as stated in the net weight. I do like that they are a non denominational design.

The bag came broken and all the coins were sliding around the cardboard box, but only a few were damaged. Great gag walking around as a pirate for Halloween. I had a few myself and they tasted good! I expected them to taste kinda cheap and gross but I was pleasantly surprised.
