Chefclub kids knife
It was just what I knew it would. His mom had one and so I ordered one. Before he had the plastic one but was harder to do veggies. This one does well with that

Perfect for kitchen helpers!
This bad boy cuts so much and I don't get nervous when my son uses it in the kitchen when he helps me chop food up to cook. Before, he would use regular kitchen knives and I was so nervous but this one takes that anxiety away. It is and isn't sharp.. if that makes sense.. he has chopped fruit with it and many veggies. We have not tried harder raw veggies like potatoes or carrots yet but so far, this thing is AWESOME! Plus it comes with a cover and a finger guard to train finger placement!

You will need to run it through the sharpener but it's a great first knife for my 8yr old.

Probably can only cut things like bananas
We opened and washed this minutes after it arrived today. My kids have been asking to help more in the kitchen. Unfortunately, immediate frustration as they could not slice through a cucumber. I then tried and it was ridiculously hard even for me (and I had to hold the knife at a strange angle). I haven't tested it on anything else, but I'd imagine you could only do foods like bananas with this. A great idea and design if it had worked as advertised. Product itself seemed sturdy.
