Looks great in an i8. Relatively easy to install. Made a mistake in not reading the description, as this model does not have the twinkle function that I originally was going for. Still is very cool, lots of options and colors to choose from. Has an app as well as a remote to control the lights. Can be synced to go with music. Wish the wire was longer from the lighter fuse to the control box, but it’s fine. Creates a nice ambiance/vibe in your car! Might consider one with twinkle function next time I do this on another car.

I purchased the Car Use 16W LED Fiber Opic Star Ceiling kit. It arrived quickly. The sticker on the outside of the box stated that what I ordered was inside. I immediately unpacked the box to test the lights, as I was planning to install them tomorrow. The power adarptor that was included in my box is not the car adaptor, but a regular 120 plug adaptor. I plugged it in to check the lights, which came on and started to cycle through colors. I grabbed the remote and it did not appear to work. I checked to see if there was a tab that needed to be removed in the battery compartment before use, and there was no battery in the remote.I have reached out to the seller and will update my review accordingly.UPDATE: The seller reached out and said that that would send the proper adaptor but that it would take a couple weeks. He requested that when I receive it, I update my review to 5 stars. He also suggested that I splice the wires on the existing cord to connect it to my car. I told him I wasn’t comfortable with doing that, and that I would wait for the adaptor.Tomorrow will be 3 weeks since I received the original shipment and I have not yet received the appropriate power supply. I have been walking around my car headliner in my den for 3 weeks and have been carpooling to work since the top of my car is disassembled. Not at all pressed at this moment. I’m hopeful that the part arrives soon so I can get my car put back together and be able to drive again.UPDATE: The appropriate power supply arrived after 4 weeks. I completed my install and am pleased with the results.I am updating my review to 5 based on the product quality. The fiber optic lights work well, and were long enough to allow an easy installation. Quality control on their packaging/boxing/labeling should maybe be improved so that the corrrct power supply is in the boxes.

This is a really good kit. Some of the lights did not work after installing them. If you are purchasing the kit with the Cigarette lighter, you might want to consider purchasing a longer DC12V Wire. Other than that everything seems to be working fine.Things to improve:Include Remote batteriesLonger Cigarette lighter DC12V wireSome lights never turned on

I redid my saggy headliner on my Acura TL. I spread out the 400 strings evenly across and it came out amazing! I truly loved this system i got rid of my acura a year and half later but it was awesome to have this

This light kit is super cool and works good. The finished product was amazing. Great look for any car.

I ordered this product thinking it would twinkle, that wasn't the case ( they do have a twinkle version though ) Installed it, which was a hassle but that's what you get when you want something unique! They were able to help me out and I was able to get the correct product after I had spoken to them about the misunderstanding, great people, and pretty solid product so far. Nice starlight kit but the remote control quality is not that nice we have purchased about 10 of them so far and I would say 2 out of 10 of them has bad remotes other than that its a good basic kit for beginners
