After reading the reviews, I took a chance. Here’s what you need to know: first, the subwoofer is larger than the other speakers, and it only has about 4 feet of wire. Simple fix I bought 50 feet of 16 gauge speaker wire red and black to match the wire on it. 18 gauge is standard wire and would work perfect. I got 16 because for 12 to 15 feet beyond a unit the impedance is better though I did not go that far, but the splice was simple. The lights are very cool and there’s a button on the remote that you can turn them off and on anytime you want. The distance on the light wire to the subwoofer also will need length and then which I bought 24 gauge would you could even go a little higher I always get a little thicker than needed again easy splice worked perfect looking at it right now listening to it great. Instruction on this or a little murky. The line in is the auxiliary in. So when it’s dates line in on the front of the unit, it’s actually.AUX IN. I bought this to connect to my TV to have like a surround sound. This has line in only not line out so I also had to buy a 3.5 mm male to male jack. It goes in the front bottom right of the main unit and you have to plug it into the headphone jack on your TV and that is your way to have everything you stream watch anything on TV will then come out of your stereo speakers this is not explained in the Instruction book ALL items I bought are inexpensive and can be purchased right here on Amazon. There is a bass/trouble button on three or 4 inches from the bottom left side you push the base goes up to number seven and then trouble that goes up to number seven that is more than enough to adjust any of the preset equalizer settings to a beautiful sounding system. I can’t find anywhere on the remote that controls the base trouble function yet but it Hass to be there. I’m thinking it’s in a menu sub setting or something I still looking but I don’t care if this sounds so good I don’t mind setting it basically once a day when I turn it on. If you’re looking for sound like you’re at a rock concert and your eardrums are going to blow out no this isn’t it but it has good depth and sound. If you adjust the settings right for watching TV music is fantastic more than enough volume. The DVD player is incredible one since that’s directly into the base unit for sound comes out of the stereo, and that sound is actually even louder and crisper. I’m 63 female I had this thing connected done in no time it’s not a big deal the basics to me or don’t read the instructions especially these because they’re kooky they’re not very explanatory and it’s a basic hook up. Of course I play music and have for almost 56 years so I play with the stuff all the time anyway point is, I’m real pleased with the stereo and still playing with it though to figure things out but the basics easy to set up EV easy to get going real nice sound end of minor things you have to do to get what you want out of it was worth it so far. I am real happy with the quality of the purchase. But remember if you want that TV sound by the 3.5 mm male to male jack when your unit says line and plug into the headphones. It’s usually around the HDMI ports on the back of your TV and buy that while you buy the stereo because you’re gonna want that at the same time. I knew it would work. I even called Pio but I had to talk to him for over an hour because they had no idea how to do it and I said that made no sense and then all of a sudden it clicked with me because this unit doesn’t have any line outs but there’s always a way around it if you think about it electronically all in all I think you’ll be real happy with this purchase I’m 63 and female and I did this in no time at all if you’re wanting to have eardrum repair because of a Metallica concert this probably ain’t it but for anything else this is great I give this a huge thumbs up so far awesome real pleased with it the ticks and buys and all that I did is because I’m super picky about my sound and what I like and it’s amazing. The trouble is crystal clear you can hear raindrops falling. I’m trying to give you an idea of what this is really like because I didn’t get much help from the descriptions. I hope this helps somebody so I’m gonna say yeah go ahead and buy it. Good luck and great deal. Awesome to have.

This stereo system exceeded my expectations. The sound is loud, clear, and has strong bass. Bluetooth connects quickly and stays stable, and the LED lights give it a nice modern look. I’ve used it for gatherings and it performs perfectly, even at high volume with no distortion. Excellent quality for the price. Highly recommended!

I was looking forward to having this stereo because it looks nice, and I saw some videos with the sounds. But when I received it and started to put it together, I noticed the woofer was cracked and the front actually came apart. The sound on one of the speakers barely comes out. I'm very disappointed! I normally don't write reviews, but PYLE systems have to do better than this. It's a 100% return!

This was an awesome gift for my inlaws. They listen to music often while they are cooking or cleaning. The only radio they had in the house was on their refrigerator. We decided to surprise them with this set up. It not only plays the radio but also has a dvd player, cd player, bluetooth, and you can use an external device also. Set up was pretty easy and I am not very mechanically inclined. You just attach the speaker wires to the stereo and you are good to go. The cool blue led glow is a neat feature also. It plays pretty loud for a house radio. So far they love it!
