Great accessory cord for the price
Great accessory cord and the perfect size for making a prusik loop or valdotain-tresse knot. Very good thickness at almost exactly 8mm and is useful for many climbing and other applications. Has a very good amount of friction and resists abrasion perfectly. Very easy to use and tie knots with.

Good static rope for hauling gear
I am reviewing the 8mm static rope. It’s good static rope for hauling gear. You should not use static rope for lead climbing or top roping. I would not use this static rope for tree climbing either. I have purchased other cheap ropes online, and other ropes that I purchased tend to bunch or twist easily. This does not bunch or twist. I can tie knots in it, and they feel secure when properly dressed. I used to use this with pulleys to hoist and suspend a heavy (maybe 100lb) cargo bike from my garage ceiling at my old condo where i had a very high ceiling in my garage and little space. I now use it mostly to hoist equipment up to my roof from a balcony when i clean my gutters. I do not use it to secure myself on my roof— i use a 9.5mm dynamic climbing rope for that. But this one is good for hoisting my battery shop vac or leaf blower up to the roof. Again, it keeps its shape, it coils pretty easily, it does not twist or bunch. It’s quality rope for its size and for static, non-human loads.

The Rope That’s Got Your Back (Literally)
This GM CLIMBING cord is so reliable, I’m convinced it would hold up a suspension bridge if asked politely. Whether I’m securing gear, creating makeshift zip lines for squirrels, or just tying random knots to impress my friends, this rope handles it all with style and grace. The double braid? Oh, it's like the luxury seating of ropes—smooth, durable, and way fancier than anything my life requires. Pre-cut means less time measuring and more time doing things that make me feel like an action hero. And the CE/UIAA certification? That's just fancy talk for "we tested this so you don’t have to." Honestly, I trust this cord more than my Wi-Fi, my car, or that one friend who always promises to show up on time. Four stars for being the MVP of my outdoor adventures and my squirrel circus. 🐿️🎪

My Go-To Climbing Cord
This thing gets the job done perfectly. The cordelette is strong, I've been using it for months now without any issue. I haven't died yet, so it clearly works. My local crag is also filled with sharp rock, and so far this has shown no signs of fraying or tearing. But beyond that, the cord just feels really nice and supple in the hands. This quality makes it very easy to tie and untie knots in the cord, even after they have been heavily loaded after a day's use. Even when I am lazy and tie simple overhands in this thing, they always seem to come untied with minimal effort at the end of the day. I love this thing. I bought a 20 footer, came back for the 50 footer, and between the two of them I never need anything else for anchor construction. Great cord.

Great UIAA Certified Accessory Cord
Just took this out climbing over the weekend and set up several anchors with it. Very sturdy / versatile - held up fine to top roping including several falls and big swings. Still flexible enough to be able to tie knots / loops - including triple fisherman's to secure the ends together. I got this because my 20 foot anchor cord wasn't long enough in some places where I climb to extend over the cliff edge - this is plenty long. I'd equalize my pieces where I wanted the master point and clove hitch the excess off. For those concerned about UIAA ratings - look up this product on their website - it's listed with an active license. It's unfortunate that the packaging / product information doesn't mention this - it really shouldn't be up to the consumer to confirm, but at least it is rated / licensed. It would also be nice is the rope ends were tagged with the licenses and strength rating - I know it's not typically the norm on accessory cord like this but it would add some reassurance that this is in-fact certified to save your life in event of falls.

Perfect for saddle sticks
This rope is legit, look up the rating/certification yourself, I did. It's good. It works perfectly for rope mods to replace the straps/buckles the sticks come with. You save 5 ounces total over the buckles and straps. Not much but it's a little. More importantly its quieter and easier and faster and you can climb bigger trees now. Definitely worth doing for sure.

Was not sure what to expect from an 8mm chord. Was planning to just use if for my foot ascender but I would feel safe using this for life support. Works well as a blake and prusik hitch as well. Grabs my 12mm climbing rope well and easy to do a controlled descent.
