Great toy for the right cat(s)
I really wanted my cats to like this toy but unfortunately, they're a little too set in their ways for the fancy new toy their Meowmmy got them (apparently, they'll only play with the old beat-up toys they've had for years). However, the toy is genuinely quality and has an impressive array of bells and whistles for the price. (I mean, if you're reading this I'm sure you know all too well how expensive even basic cat toys are. "Oh boy, it's fabric in the shape of a fish AND the catnip is included? Wow!")I ended up testing it out pretty extensively and the different settings all worked excellently. The coolest thing about the toy for me is when the toy bumps into something, it knows to roll the opposite direction to keep moving. We have a lot of places it could get stuck and I was impressed by how often the toy could find it's way out of a jam. While the first and second settings are speed-related (Fast and Slow), the third setting is "Interactive", meaning it chirps and moves around a little bit to get the cat's attention before going on a kind of "Stand-By" waiting for the cat to bat at it, at which point it will react. The chirps are loud enough to get kitties' attention but I didn't find it annoyingly so - even better, you can turn the chirping off and on with just a couple presses of a button (none of that instant regret buying a noise-maker for your cat whose favorite time to play is 4 in the morning). The toy performed well on both wood floors and carpeting, I didn't notice a difference in speed or maneuverability. And it comes with the cutest little screwdriver for removing any cat hair that might have accumulated/gotten wrapped up in the toy. It also comes with a couple different soft elastic wraps for the ring and fuzzy ball attachments (that are also very cute). It doesn't require batteries because it actually comes with a cord for charging the toy and the light will indicate when the battery is low. For how versatile the toy is, it's so simple to operate - powering on, powering off, changing play and chirp settings, all with just one button. So while the toy wasn't a winner with my cats, they're well-known for being picky (our living room is a veritable graveyard of all the cat toys that have seen zero attention since the day I brought them home). But I would still recommend it to anybody looking to encourage their kitties to play and especially if you're trying to get a kitty to exercise - the toy is a lot of fun and it really works it's butt off for the money haha.

Cat loves it
My one year old cat loves this toy. It is a little too fast at times - there’s 3 speed settings and I keep it on the lowest as the higher speeds are too fast- but it keeps him entertained. Durable and a good price.

Cute but too fast and crashy
I think it's really cute! It seems well made and I love that it's rechargable. But it's too fast, even in "slow" mode (I can't really tell the difference between fast and slow mode except the color of the led). We use it on hardwood with thinnish rugs and it just speeds back and forth, constantly flipping and loudly crashing into things and my cats are NOT interested.I wish it had an actual significantly slower mode, I think my cats would be more interested then.. but it might still work well if you have brave cats and a larger area where it wouldn't constantly crash into things, or maybe it would just work out better on thicker carpet. Also the interactive mode is interesting.. instead of just sitting there quietly until someone slaps at it, it will chirp and try to get their attention to play. It's cute and I think it's a good idea to a certain extent, but I wish it would stop doing it after a certain length of time or would just chirp less frequently... Maybe if my cats liked it I would feel differently. But yeah if you have brave, energetic cats and a wide open area to play, it could be a great toy for them! But if they're a bit timid or sensitive to loud, sudden sounds, it could be a bit too much for them.*Update* there is a noticable difference between fast and slow mode on carpet, and the cats were at least not as wary of it on carpet, we just don't have a large carpeted area 🤷♀️

Works on carpet!
I love it! Keeps my kitten engaged and is fun to watch. Works on carpet as well as hardwood floors. So cute! Recharge is easy, makes cute chirpy sounds, and we love the different settings.

Could be better - list of things to address
This is aimed at the manufacturer specificialy.- The settings are twice as energetic as they need to be. My cat barely can tolerate the lowest power mode. Half the power would probably improve the poor time between charges.- Great design and ball, but it needs a random factor. This can be done by having the weight slightly off balance so that it wobbles, or that it sometimes does more than repeat the same pattern. My cat mostly sees it go back and forth rather than attack it. If it had a random pattern or it would sometimes do more or a creep and dash after 5-10 seconds, it would work better. My cat sees it stop and almost wants to pounce on it and then it's moving again. Her brain wants a good 5-10 seconds of inactivity while it is making noises. Think less zoomies and more creep and hunt in "slow/gentle mode". But this requires a complex set of instructions rather than a repeating pattern, so a little more work.- The thing has a high pitched servo whine when standing still. It needs to be silent.- The bird chirp needs to be sampled better/longer. Again, random sounds including scraping/pecking and fluttering wings and so on rather than beep beep.

She loves hates it .
She gets spooked by it sometimes and other times she’ll play with it for about 15 minutes then has a nap. It’s a nice size ,so easier for us humans to find it for her .I do recommend it as it is well made and is entertaining for us both

Pleasantly surprised
Came in nice boxing, all stuff in the pic included, didn't seem like a cheep piece of garbage, All the fuzzy attachments feel super soft and fit great. You can see in the second pic there’s lil holes on the frame… that was cool to see, I’m guessing you can tie something on there if you want.. Ive only had it a day so not sure the battery life. It works great on short carpet on low an on high works ok on longer carpet… I find on hardwood it’s abit louder coz those lil bumps(grips). Even on low it moves quite fast so my kitty’s abit scared of it.. but that’s just my kitty, she’s scared of everything but thought I’d try.. overall I see this as a good quality product, just will try it abit more and see if she warms up to it but probably regift it as I said I have a real life scardy cat… it moves alil to fast for her even on the low setting
