New Balance Men's 577 V1 Lace-up

I’ve been wearing these New Balance 577 V1 shoes daily for a few weeks now, and I couldn’t be more impressed. Right out of the box, they felt solid and supportive, and after just a short break-in period (a day or two), they molded perfectly to my feet. The cushioning is excellent, especially if you’re on your feet all day — whether for work, walking, or casual wear. The leather upper looks clean and professional, and the all-black design is easy to match with any outfit. Plus, they’re incredibly durable — I can tell they’re going to last a long time. ONly shoes I wear any more, size is true and wide widths are the best most accurate I have been able to find yet,and they last a long time,I am on feet all day,cement floors ,super comfortable .

I had to return the original pair because the sizing was almost a full size too small. I did reorder another larger pair. These are comfortable and hopefully will last a while. Only time will tell. However considering I purchased this and a different pair for almost half of what ONE similar pair would cost me here, I'm not worried.

I bought the New Balance 577 V1 Lace‑up Shoes in Black (11.5 X‑Wide) as a gift for my father, and they turned out to be absolutely perfect. He’s always needed extra‑wide shoes for comfort, and this pair fits him better than anything he’s worn in years. The cushioning and support are excellent — he mentioned right away how much easier they make walking and standing for long periods. These shoes have quickly become his everyday pair, and he’s already talking about getting another color. If you’re shopping for someone who needs comfort, stability, and a true X‑wide fit, this is a fantastic choice.

These shoes work great. I have a pair from 2017 and they still fit and dont have a lot of degradation yet I wore them a lot. My wife has a good nose and she says they stink. I cant smell it so I bought a new pair. These are still a great fit. They are now my # 1 shoe again. I have others but these fit after I bought a size D and they were too tight. The return was quick and easy. I ordered again after getting a credit. I bought the E size and they fit nicely.

Overall, the shoes are ok comfort wise but if you're going to try to sneak up on someone, forget it. These shoes have to be the squeakiest shoes I've ever owned. I still wear them but they are soo loud! Jmo

I have purchased New Balance shoes similar to these for years. I purchased my latest pair on August 26, 2025 and have barely worn them because they squeak SO LOUDLY that it is annoying to even wear them anywhere. People are going to hear you coming from 20 feet away in these things. The squeak comes from whatever material they have decided to start making the tongue out of. It is from the tongue rubbing on the underside of the top of the shoe with each step you take. This is the only brand that I have had this sisue with. I also see that others reference this squeak. Who wants to spend $60 on a pair of shoes that are embarrassing to wear because they make noise when you walk? New Balance's quality control department should be shamed of themselves for even allowing this design to get through. I figured that if I walked in them for long enough, the squeak would go away, but instead it has only gotten louder. Nothing that I have tried stops the squeak. I'm not buying these again. You've lost a customer of probably 10-15 years because you have started making your product with such poor design that it is noisy. My family also buys a lot of New Balance and I'm telling them, as well. When enough people stop buying these shoes, maybe New Balance will get the hint and make the tongue and/or underside of the top with a material that doesn't squeak. I didn't pay to have squeaky shoes. The trash can is the best place for these.

The shoes are comfortable and good looking, despite my shoe size, US13! One point though, the leather is quite thick and stiff, I.e. strong, and maybe needs a long breaking in duration.

Ich musste leider sehr, sehr lange warten und ziemlich viel Transportkosten zahlen (Übersee) . Aber alles in allem hatte es sich gelohnt. Ein wunderbarer Schuh mit ausgezeichneten Trageeigenschaften. Design elegant und sportlich zugleich. Da freue ich ich jedesmal hinein zuschlüpfen, ist wie eine zweite Haut!

Hermosos, cómodos. Llegaron antes del tiempo previsto. Muy bien todo. Muy recomendables.
