Like many reviewers I purchased this as a back up and left it in the boot for several months. Got to use it the other day and have to say I was pleasantly surprised. The all day breakfast was piping hot after using the sf heat pouch and it was tasty. There was also some little sundries and a dessert all of which left me full up and considerably happier. Already ordered a replacement. Good effort Ration-x.

Everything arrived well packaged, the dates were great +1 year. Have added them to my grab bag as a just in case. Have had before whilst on a weekend camping trip and they are yummy 😋

Got this item to try and could not be happier, the package may look small when it arrives but once you open it is stuffed full of stuff except salt and pepper, but to be honest i did not need them, the quality of the meal i had was awsome, very filling, my only small concern was my ration heater got so warm it actually melted a small hole in the bag, but it still worked fine. Overall in my view you do get excellent value for money and recommend mine to those going camping or to concerts, honestly cannot wait to try another one, highly recommend in my view.

I've seen other people try ration kits, saying they didn't usually taste good. This one was actually surprisingly alright. Keep in mind these are designed for people who simply need food for energy, and something that is easy to eat. It does exactly that, but of course it's not going to taste like a 5 star meal. Over 1200 calories, including drinks, a way to heat the main meal (which worked great), and tastes okay. If i was really hungry and needed food, i would have no complaints over this.

Ok, if you are desperate.My children were not convinced (ages 9 and 5). The sausages and beans were ok, but the bread (it was actually egg) didn't taste very nice - fortunately there was very little. They are not fussy and will generally eat anything.Comparing this with a cold tin of sausages and beans, the tin was the preference for them, so this largely went uneaten.The sweats and other items were very tasty.The food is all mixed in together. If they could find a way of separating out the egg (and make it look and taste like egg, and have more than a few small pieces), it would be a large improvement and bring additional value - compared to a tin of sausages and beans.

Munched down my all day breakfast while up Mt Snowdon. Was pretty awesome. The other bits are nice and useful items to carry around in your bag. Bit steep but its a fun thing.
