UV SPF30 Advanced Formula Scar Gel, 15g

Bought to use after minor operation seems to be working well.

I absolutely love this product for scars and burns. I have 2 different types of scars on my right arm. One caused by burning my arm reaching into a hot oven (stupid, I know), the other caused by a rose thorn in my garden. The oven burn was quite deep and remained "fresh" looking for a long time. (I had been on corticosteroids, so my healing ability was quite poor). I decided about 2 months down the line to try this. I was skeptical at first but 3 weeks later, the scar started to matify, and no longer looked like a visible dent in my skin. The colour is still fairly red, but a more paler purplish colour (showing healing). I am encouraged by this greatly. The rose thorn scar is about a year old and is a white line. I have noticed this 'lifting' but not completely gone, which is still good given I've done nothing about it for so long. I found Amazon to have the cheapest price. I paid almost £35 for this in a dermatologist and was glad to find it on here cheaper. It takes time to work, so keep applying it!

I used Kelo-cote about 3 months after surgery to moisturise long scars on my chest that were a little hypertrophic and to help them fade. I used this for 6 months and honestly - didn’t see much difference in fading, hypertrophy or skin texture. In fact, I swapped products and then noticed an immediate difference at last. However, it did help with the dry skin and itching I had been experiencing and it did reassure me that my skin was protected from the sun appropriately during that summer. In fairness it’s hard to know for sure if a product has (or hasn’t) helped scars or if it’s just time and healing doing its thing, especially in the first year. My scars didn’t get bigger or stretch at least while using it and the added moisture likely helped to prevent further hypertrophy. As a product - it dries fairly quickly (within a few minutes), doesn’t leave any weird texture or stickiness issues and was generally easy to apply. A lot more comfortable than scar strips especially in the summer, and it doesn’t seem to be too affected by sweat, it lasts through the day. The tube is small but lasts a long time as you only need a tiny amount per application.

This has got to be the best scar cream I've come across. Bonus points for UV filter. Highly recommend.

Great product easy to apply and absorbs really well

I bought this after a knee replacement for my scar, it is a little tube and expensive but i have to say it is wonderful my scar is healing quickly and you only need a tiny amount so it goes a long way. I have been using this now for 6 weeks and will certainly buy it again when it runs out. Also has a bonus of UV protection.

So I have been using this everyday since December 2020 and I do honestly think I've seen a difference in my keloid scars. I feel like they don't look so red and they are definitely getting flatter. My scars are quite old (2 years, maybe 3) so I think it'll take a while of using this to see a huge difference but I'm really impressed so far. I've tried cheaper alternatives like the Superdrug Scar Gel and they do nothing, this is the only one I've actually seen make a difference. So while it is more pricey, I think the results are worth it. Plus you don't need a whole lot so it lasts really well, my first tube has lasted a good 4 months and I've only just got to the end (not completely finished yet). Would really recommend :)

Tried it for over a month. Was unaware of any improvement to the feel or look of my post op chest scar. I wouldn't recommend it at all
