Within hours of simply plugging this device into an electric socket, there was no more sound of the rats in our garage, and it's now clear that they have gone altogether and not returned. Not a sign of them. So this device is not only neat and simple to install, but magically effective.

Followed instructions to the letter, item appears to have done its job initially. Adjusted item to secondary 'random' mode in the hope it would unsettle any little visitors, but the thing has stopped working completely. As I now have nothing to lose on it, I'll dismantle it to see if it's just a fuse or something simple to get it working again.Wish me luck!

Plugged it in and hey presto, no more noise.We were experiencing loud scratching in our bedroom at night. Obviously rats!! It has been plugged in for a month now and we haven’t heard a thing. Certainly worth a go if you have the same problem

I've had one on my landing in 3 bedroom house with loft for 2 years had no rats or mice. It got broken and a rat come into the kitchen. It got caught with rat poison box and now have 3 of this electric deterrent equipment. Because it WORKS!!!

Followed instructions for rats and switched to intermittent setting after a week or so. The device has leds on and clicks, but we got used to it. After about a month we noticed it was no more making a sound. Not sure how best to contact manufacturer, but will update if there is satisfactory outcome...

Works s treat. Silent (ultrasonic) mode was enough to see off pesky squirrels.

Previous Pestbye unit now thought to have failed after several years, of money well spent, as rats recently retuning to the loft where the unit had successfully kept them away. New unit now installed and evidence of reduction from first week and now after two weeks all but clear again so very pleased with the result. Entering into third week variable frequency set to prevent rodents becoming used to the deterrent.

We heard a rat between the floor and ceiling of our two flats which are full of cables and sound insulation so it was a real worry that it could do a lot of inaccessible damage. I plugged the repellant into our system and the loud noises ceased but we continued to hear the pitter patter of tiny feet above us. A week later and we heard very little but looking out of the window I spotted a rat making a beeline for our property. We succumbed to using a trap which was a truly horrible experience. The company states that the rat might hang around if they have young and this could have been the case but we couldn’t take the risk and wait. We continue to have the gadget plugged in because it may be more effective as a deterrent.
