Great product

After many months of trying out various different hair waxes and creams, attempting to find one that looks good for dark hair and holds all day, I've finally found it with this one by American Crew. It's easy to work in, washes out (and off your hands) easily, and gives a nice shine - something I wanted having dark hair. It holds the style all day, even in moderate wind. However if it does happen to get messed up by strong winds, or trying on clothes, etc, then it has the benefit of being reworkable and you can quickly and easily fix it without needing to apply any more product. It also has a nice scent to it. Will definitely be using this one from now on and can finally stop wasting money on products that don't work and end up in the bin.

This product is really good for thick hair. The consistency is quite sticky, it does give you hair a nice shine or the “wet look” but it does leave you hair feeling quite greasy. The smell is ok for me haven’t had any complaints about smell. But it’s definitely not to everyone’s taste. It’s a decent product improvement can be made, my suggestion is to apply small amounts to shape your hair the way you want it and potentially use a hair spray. But for me this product has served me well.

Great product this holds hair all day and even after a nights sleep, quick comb and its back in place. Can use it on dry hair if you want a real shinny slick back look, it can be abit clumpy and looks abit greasy if to much is used. I prefer to style my hair slightly wet use a little amount of product comb it through and blow dry. Get a great hold with a little shine and can always add more if required once dried.

I have brought the fibre wax for a while but my hair has gotten longer recently so I wanted to switch. I love the shine and the texture. It’s also an easy to wash. However, this product has ZERO hold. Hence such low rating. I don’t have really long hair, I’d say it’s med length and honestly I’m chucking it in the bin. Within 10 mins the hair becomes fluffy.

It works

Much better product than fudge and holds my hair style really well but it smells horrible. An oily smell. States smells like coconut but it doesn't to me.

I've been using American Crew Grooming cream for years, the product that was sent out to me was clearly not the product that I have previously used, its was more of a wax, smelt nothing like coconut, in fact it stank.... even the product labelling was even different. AWFUL PRODUCT DO NOT BUY
