K&N 33-2300 Replacement Air Filter, Heather Red

Really happy with this. As others have said it takes 5 mins to fit (just remember to look at the orientation of the paper filter as you take it out). Adds some noise to the engine note (bit more growl) and throttle 'feels' more responsive.

Ordered this from Amazon as it was the cheapest place I could find it. Having read many reviews and reports regarding the effectiveness of this filter over the standard OEM paper filter I thought I would give it a try. Arrived via 1st Class post in 2 days and took 5-10mins to fit (it does not come with any fitting instructions but you do need to note it only goes in one way (see indents in edges of filter in line with the OEM filter indents). Results were noticeable in my Toyota GT86 TRD with throttle being more responsive and accelleration smoother. At the time of writing this I am unable to comment on whether it does offer more HP and better fuel economy as these benefits are not as tangable as the throttle response difference. This replaced the stock air filter on my GT86. The standard air filter looks like a massive white pillow jammed in the air intake compared to the much thinner, sticky item. Took about a minute to fit and the difference is noticable. The car runs much better from cold and there's more induction noise that makes it sound a bit throatier. The car also feels like it revs a little more freely as well. You won't see any real horsepower gains without a tune and replacing the exhaust manifolds though. Still, a worthwhile upgrade.

Quick and easy to install, The car feels to run much better from cold start and just generally revs smother on the lower rpm range, not sure on a hp increase but definitely worth the money.

Can't say it's improved the power of the car as gains are minimal. However, you can feel that it is more free flowing and the responsiveness of the car is better. Sounds more throaty too!

Good product but it is a bit fiddly, the fitting is snug

My GT86 has got 6 horsepower more now, but you cannot notice the increase! However, what you can feel is that it has become more free flowing, and the responsiveness of the car is noticeably better. Highly recommended!
