This has been a great job it cuts my fabric to a treat well made, I could recommend for snyone needing to cut fabric on regular basis.

Used it to cut carpet and worked surprisingly well.

Extremely dangerous! We are a manufacturer, working with fabrics on a daily basis and have good knowledge and experience of cutting knives - this one is dangerous. The 'on' switch is a large lever on the underside of the knife and very sensitive - it is not really possible to pick up the knife without turning on the blade so it can shock easily. The blade is too big and powerful for hand-held; we could not cut in a straight line despite much practicing - it is far too lively without a more solid base. Be careful!

Great tool for cutting many layers of fabric without effort. Cuts it like butter and saves so much effort. Does not give you a ready made option for cutting with precision due to desigh which does not allow me to press against a ruler whilst cutting without a gap. It leaves a gap between ruler and cutter. However I do manage to do this now after practice -i measured gap and deduct that from the overal measurement. As it is so easy to cut its easy to slip on the material.

Bought this to cut through thick cloth. It stated it would cut upto 20mm thick. Spot on. Like a knife through butter. Great piece of kit. Don't know if possible but I think it may even cut carpet. There's a thought.

Works well for doing a big fabric lay.
