L'Oréal Paris Double Extension Mascara Waterproof

Very good and very waterproof.

I bought this because apparently it’s essential. I have no clue why. She puts it on, looks fantastic, and I nod in approval. Waterproof, amazing, makes her eyelashes long enough to see from space. I’m impressed.

I’ve used this product on and off for over ten years, but today I’ve been really upset by shockingly bad customer service for such a large company. As you can see in my photograph there was a misalignment of the bristles on my product, however this came and went as it seems the bristle sometimes went back into position, and sometimes popped out. During the first week of use I scratched my eyeball badly while using the product. This resulted in pain, pinkness around eye and tears dreaming throughout the day for three days. I didn’t notice the fault in the product until later and was surprised to see the bristle went back in and out over time. Because I didn’t notice the fault in the product I carried on using it as put it down to my own fault to begin with, but was shocked that it was not getting better within a few hours which is what normally happens if you injure yourself with a mascara wand. I’ve called L’Oréal as Amazon doesn’t have a refund option like it normally does, and there isn’t a faulty product option to click on the product which I purchased over three months ago. Only the p no one number. On the call back the lady asked if I had seen a doctor about my injury, I understood this may be because of legal reasons to see if I may be able to make a claim against them, however I trusted that the customer service would be good enough regardless so told her I had not. However later in the call she said that because “you insisted on carrying on using the product for three months” I was not entitled to a refund. She said also if I want a refund I need to email them a photograph and provide an order number, however she didn’t provide an email address and she wrapped the call up. I’ve worked in customer service and this is not how I was trained! I explained I am poor so continued using rather than go without the product while sorting out, and noticed the problem and worked around it, but that does not absolve them of fault. They asked for a batch number on the product but due to their own design errors it has worn off the product, I presume it is where the bar code is. I pulled the labels apart but it was only the ingredients list on the inside. Surely preserving the batch code number is a higher priority L’Oréal, if you want to protect your customers? Really disappointing and I don’t hold them in the high regard I previously did. I was not going to put this on the internet but I guess it’s down to me to warn others.

I buy this mostly for the base coat. It really helps build up a thicker lash. The mascara gets a bit claggy after a week or so but cleaning the brush after application helps. I try other mascaras but always come back to this one as it is really water and smudge proof

The ones in the shops have a hygiene seal on them, this one doesn't. Could easily have been used.

Useless practically dried out container on arrival clumpy mess

Ich habe schon viele Wasserfeste Mascara getestet. Die einzige , die mich überzeugt hat, ist diese hier. Sie musste jetzt schon vielen Tests standhalten: Pro: Schwimmen (sogar mit einem Tauchgang), Duschen, Wasserschlacht im Garten, Baden! Alles hat sie ausgehalten und ist überhaupt nicht verschmiert. Natürlich muss man sie mit einem Augenmakeupentferner abmachen, aber das ist kein Problem. Habe nur so ein billiges Model vom Rewe und es hat super geklappt. Dazu muss ich aber sagen, dass ich immer Frühs das weiße drauf hab, 5 min gewartet habe, und dann erst mit schwarz drüber. Dann hält sie auf jeden Fall super! Auch der Schwung der Wimpern ist ganz schön, jedoch nicht so natürlich, wie meine normale Mascara. -> - ultra Wasserfest - gut lösbar - schöner Schwung Contra: Das Auftragen ist schon eine nervige Angelegenheit, nichts für schnell schnell. Das schwarze über das weiße zu streichen geht zwar ganz gut, aber ich habe einmal nicht alle stellen erwischt und hatte ein paar einzelne weiße Wimpern. Das ist mir aber nur einmal passiert. Dadurch dass die Mascara zum Großteil aus Wachs besteht erschwert das das Auftragen nochmal gewaltig. Sie ist viel dicker als normale Mascara, weshalb leicht Fliegenbeinchen entstehen. -> - schweres Auftragen FAZIT: Obwohl es diesen einen Schlechten Punkt gibt, tut die Mascara eindeutig was sie soll. sie ist Wasserdicht! Das Auftragen ist nicht so wichtig für meinen Geschmack, schließlich ist es keine Alltags Wimperntusche, sondern nur für besondere Tage (Schwimmbad, Regen etc. ) Man könnte sie aber , weil sie so toll aussieht auch jeden Tag drauf machen, wenn man sich in der Früh 5 min länger Zeit nimmt.

C’est un produit que je connais depuis de nombreuses années, je n’utilise que la partie blanche puisque j’utilise que du mascara Waterproof normalement donc c’est la partie blanche qui m’intéresse et ça permet de recourber les cils seule application et après de mettre le mascara c’est vraiment très très pratique
