Embrace mistakes as chances for creativity and growth. Discover how every spill, smear, and tear can become something wonderful in this interactive pop-up book. Review: I LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS BOOK!!! - This is a gorgeous book about making the best of what you have, turning negatives into positives, and it's so fun and such a fantastic lesson to teach. It has lots of brilliant flaps and things that my toddler loves to interact with, for example it shows a bent page corner that has been turned into a penguin, or a rolled up ball of paper that's now a sheep. It's a nice length too - maybe about a 5 minute read but feels substantial so it's brilliant if you want a quick bedtime story, and it's solid enough for it to be safe in the hands of a small toddler. The only thing is the ball of paper came off fairly quickly, but once I stuck it back down, we haven't had the problem since. The copy we have was given to us as a gift and we loved it so much, we bought this one to give as a gift. It'll definitely be getting the sequel and really hope it's a book that my kids end up reading to their kids. Review: This book is a wonderful way to help children feel better about making mistakes - This book is a wonderful way to help children feel better about making mistakes. Bought this for my son who aged 6 has started getting very upset when he makes a mistake in his drawing (picked up this from school, as before starting he was very happy with his own talents). This book helped him to know that a mistake is not a problem or a failure to do something right, instead each mistake is an opportunity to explore another idea. He loved it, especially the fact there are different flaps to open or ideas to explore. My son is now much happier when drawing, he has spent a week turning every mistake he makes into something else wonderful. Buy this to make sure your children are not averse to taking risks, they need to learn that every slip of the pencil is a Beautiful Oops!

A lovely message and an entertaining book
This book shows children how a mistake can be turned into something beautiful. What a lovely concept, and with great pop-ups. Highly recommended for parents and teachers of young children.

Beautiful indeed and so helpful!
This book has been fantastic for helping out 4 year old overcome her perfectionism. It's beautifully written and engaging with lovely interactive pages. Now when things don't go quite up plan we say "remember beautiful oops! What can we do / make instead?" We've had far fewer melt downs & tears since we've been reading this. Highly recommend it.

Impressively creative
This is a great production feat and lovely to look at, though it feels rather short as a reading book. I bought it for my nephew who was going through a phase of only wanting to do things if he was perfect at doing them - I hope it helped him see the beauty in mistakes too!

Great book, great message
My son has been going through this “I need to do everything perfect phase” or have a tantrum or not do it at all. He loves this book, looks at it over and over and is starting to laugh at “mistakes”

Beautiful
What a truly beautiful book. My daughter has been struggling with making mistakes, it’s often the end of the world, but this book shows the opportunities created by little ‘mistakes’. It’s a beautifully crafted book, few words, but with flaps and interactive pages. I was worried it wouldn’t be worth the price as it is quite expensive for a book that you can’t see, but it’s worth every penny.

I was given this book & loved the creative detailed artwork/design & simple thought provoking reflection as an adult. Bought 13 copies to give to my ministry teachers as a gift for them.

My youngest daughter was reading this book at her school and asked if she could have it for her birthday. The day she unwrapped it, she read it to every one of our family members who visited her for her birthday. Its illustrations are stunning and the purpose of this book is just beautiful in the lesson it teachers - even mistakes can be turned into something amazing. Both of my daughters are little perfectionists so it was as great book for them both (really) to understand, we dont have to be perfect. Highly recommend!
