These 'Homescapes' Polycotton Quilted Pillow Protectors 2 pack (Pair) Non Allergenic Bedding Protector (Standard Size) really are champions of the bedroom. They are the kings of the linen cupboard; truly products of some genius of the textile. A diligent wife, thorough in my duties, I began to notice occasional persistent stains in the fabric of the pillows on my husband's bed. Being thrifty and utterly dedicated to preserving my often scanty weekly housekeeping allowance (my husband does his best, poor man; he has many outgoings: the Montego has been rather demanding of late, what with the service and MOT, not to mention the additional fuel costs it has been accruing as the important business trips - more often overnight now - increase), I have attempted to gently sponge the surface of said pillows but any self-respecting wife will understand that this is not practical. The moist nature of the sponge WILL penetrate the inside stuffing of the pillow and goodness knows where we would be if this were significantly dampened. Were the stuffing actual goose or duck down, then - heavens above! - It would spell disaster or even total catastrophe: we all know how these smell once damp. There is no recovery for a wet feather. No such catastrophe will befall our household, happily, now I have (heavily) invested in the 'Homescapes' Polycotton Quilted Pillow Protectors 2 pack (Pair) Non Allergenic Bedding Protector (Standard Size). I say 'heavily' as these are reassuringly expensive, though now essential items. The cost is offset by the requirement of just one set, however. I am content with my beige nylon pillow cases, purchased by my mother-in-law to celebrate our wedding, and being an unfussy sleeper, under my slumbering head, they survive many nights unscathed by pollution or secretions. My husband's, however, mysteriously become stained rather regularly. Oddly, there even seems to be a pattern to these occurrences. On a Wednesday, I attend the local market where I am able to buy my husband's favoured fresh mackerel and beef brisket. Coincidentally, this is a day he spends working from home during the afternoons on his computer, completing very important tasks, he informs me (so important, in fact, that I must knock before entering our twin-bedded room, in case he is in the throes of some crucial merger or contract agreement). INVARIABLY, following this day, I find that the 'Homescapes' Polycotton Quilted Pillow Protectors 2 pack (Pair) Non Allergenic Bedding Protector (Standard Size) come into their own, as his beige pillow cases are again stained, thus protecting (as is their purpose) the enclosed pillows. I can only imagine that the poor man drools in his sleep - a direct result of the stresses of his executive position. Well, he may now drool away - and do so without worry or restraint, for I have found an answer to my laundering prayers! These really are, as Shakespeare would have put it (could he have discovered these Polycotton Princes himself?!), quite literally, the stuff that dreams are made on!

Decent thickness, envelope pillow protectors. A good size for pillows with enough room to get them in without struggling but not too loose that there is low ads of fabric which bunches up in the pillowcase. Not washed them yet but stitching is all good with no loose ends so can’t see why there would be any problems after washing. Difficult to find pillow protectors which don’t have a zip fastening so very pleased to find these at a good price and decent quality.

These are generally ok, make sure that you trim all the excessive poor quality stitching with care.

These seem dribble proof. They are soft and comfy and easy to put on the pillows, no zips etc.. Cotton material is good quality and doesn’t make rustling noise when laying on it.
