Manfrotto MCLAMP, Universal Smartphone Clamp with Thread Connections, for iPhone with or without Case, Foldable, Compact Size, Vlogging, Black

Works remarkably well, and is easy to use. I'd bought it on a whim, but it's been earning its place in the little side pocket of the bag that carries my Manfrotto compact travel monopod. It can be fitted in seconds, and provides a stable platform for a phone camera. That's proved surprising useful, especially as one generally doesn't know the shutter speed that a phone camera is using. I also found it useful when taking panoramic shots, as it's much easier to hold the camera stable and follow any tracking guidelines in a panoramic stitching app. The phone is held securely in an extensible spring-loaded clamp. There's a standard threaded bush at the bottom , and a second at the back, allowing a choice of orientations on a tripod or monopod. The Manfrotto Smartphone Clamp easily carries my iPhone SE, even when it's fitted in its i-Blason case. I've also found it useful when using my phone camera to take pictures through a microscope, by mounting the Clamp on a tabletop tripod then using that to hold the lens squarely over the eyepiece, without wobbling. Photographs taken this way are surprisingly effective. Super little gadget. I love it.

Good value for money, excellent quality, recommended.

Very firm clamp, that means I'm never worried about the phone sliding or falling off. Feels well made, with two exceptions: The back features a tiny kick-stand that allows this device to act as a little stand. The 'leg' that pops out is incredibly flimsy, and barely has the strength to hold up an iPhone 5s (the smallest). I purchased this to go with a tripod, so it didn't ruin the product for me, but when paying a premium I'd much rather have a feature that works, or not have it at all. The red pads are either poorly manufactured, or low quality as one side is thinner than the other by about 1mm. The difference is small, but it means every photo I have needs to be rotated by about 2 degrees to be perfect.

I bought this as a gift but sadly it turned up with severely damaged packaging so was sent straight back. I got a deal on the newer version so bought that as a replacement instead. However, just from looking at it it seemed to be well made and flexible. Well; it's from Manfrotto and I've never had a bad item from them. I'd certainly have kept it had it been for me as it certainly looked like a capable and useful gadget.

Although it’s plastic it feels like it was built to last.. I’ve been using it for a few months now and it’s very well made.. The red bits at the end are made of a kind of toughened rubber and really grip your phone very well. I’ve recorded a few Vlogs while walking around with lots of people and I’ve not once felt worried about someone bumping into me and my IPhone falling out and smashing into a million peace’s

I have several Manfrotto products and all are well designed and made to a high standard. Unfortunately, this product is not. I bought it to replace the clamp that came with a selfie stick but this is probably not as good as the original (which cost about £11 for the pole, clamp, remote + other fittings). I have an iPhone 6s which is currently protected by an Otterbox Defender case - sure the clamp stretches enough but the grips are not wide enough and the phone just does not feel secure. It may be okay with a narrower case but surely Manfrotto should have thought about different case widths when designing this. I also expected it to be made of a better quality plastic/polycarbonate. Overall - a bit disappointed Manfrotto do have a new phone clamp but (at the moment) it's pretty expensive

This little clip is perfect for all smartphones (my iPhone XS Max) has no issues at all. Clip is solid and well built holds phone very secure, makes for a perfect photo and great videos if your a vlogger who uses a smart phone. I always leave my honest opinion on all purchases. Con l’attacco filettato , comune a tutti i cavalletti , si possono utilizzare praticamente infiniti modelli Unica accortezza da adottare è quella che durante il bloccaggio si corre il rischio di farsi cadere o il telefono o il sistema stesso causa la notevole forza da imprimere per allargare la presa. In pratica tende a schizzare con notevole velocità. Unica alternativa consisterebbe in un attacco a chiusura filettata. Ma sarebbe un altro prodotto. Promosso a pieni voti. Pratico, maneggevole e di rapido utilizzo. A parte questo ,

I needed to be able to attach my iPod to my camera tripod. This is an excellent choice because it is high quality and inexpensive. It does the job and I would recommend it.
