Preserving flowers
Used to preserve some flowers for the first time. Worked perfectly, easy to use, and the flowers retained their colour very well. Fully dried in about 7 days.Only slight downside is that it is extremely fine silica sand, so should probably be used with appropriate PPE.Also realised that you might need more than you expect (especially if doing a bouquet, or large headed flowers like roses or Gerbera). I ended up needing to order a second tub, and they are quite expensive, but will be worth it in the long run as the silica is reusable.

Damaged packaging
Ordered this so I could dry out the fresh flowers from my wedding. Unfortunately the tub was broken and most of the silica was in the packaging. I managed to retrieve a lot from the box but as I pulled it out of the packaging it went all over the floor. Having said that the silica gel is working great to dry out my flowers.

As described
This is as described and works as it should. No complaints and I would recommend to others.You need to remove the orange indicator and mix this with the white silica sand before use. Hope that helps :)

Damaged internal packaging - unusable
The product arrived damaged, rendering it unusable as the 'airtight' container is no longer airtight - the silica was spilling out of the tub & box.The outer box had no visible damage, was delivered safely and was not labelled, "handle with care" either.My only option is to return the item and re-order, meanwhile, my wedding bouquet is starting to wilt! The whole point was to receive the order quickly so as to preserve the flowers in a fresh state. There should be an option for replacement of damaged good - shouldn't have to place a new order & wait to be refunded. Far less than satisfactory.

Just the job to dry flowers.
I got a lot of flowers in a 2kg bucket, very pleased and the flowers came out completely dry. Would buy again.
