Got this book as a gift for our college age dancer & she LOVES it! She wishes she had the book ages ago. She finds it helpful to understand her body & what is doing what. Recommend it for all ages of dancers.

I work as a dance educator and my daughter does as well. I got this for us to use in our technique classes to further help our dancers comprehend all their anatomy and how it helps them acheive what is being asked of their bodies. This also helps further engage our dancers and gives their further confidence in comprehending their bodies. As a result we can have more meaningful dialogue, corrections and appilcations of varios movements and holds. When we speak about specific muscles that are being flexed or contracted, the dancers are more dialed in because they know exactly what we are referring to. I highly recommend this resource to all dance educators and as a great gift for a serious dancer.
