Astonishing value for money, solid and high quality.
Though I will occasionally use this for photography, I bough it in order to use my laser-level. I am at a loss as to how Amazon can offer a fully-featured tripod of this quality for this price. The tripod comes with its own zipped carrier bag which also has an adjustable carrying strap. But one removed from this carrier and in it’s closed condition it has a built-in carrying handle (something I’ve not seen on previous tripods I owned). Despite Amazon saying it’s lightweight - it is reassuringly weighty, though not overwhelmingly so, and I normally associate weight/solidity with quality in any case. It is a triple-extend tripod (2 position legs and an extendable neck) and with both extension legs in their fully extended positions it is rock solid. The clamps for that are used to release and lock the legs are also solid and there’s no slip when closed or open. The gimbaled rubber feet are also a boon on uneven or slippery surfaces like wooden floors. The head has all the tings you’d expect, rotation, left/right and tilt controls as well as the winder to raise the extended neck, all of which feel solid and sure. There are two spirit levels on this. One circular one above the legs with which you can level the tripod an any surface by adjusting the legs, and another on the head itself so that one can level that (in my case to get it close enough for my laser lever automatic leveling can kick in.) On mine, though, this is a little touchy to say the least. The bubble does not move smoothly, it will go from the edge to the other edge with the tiniest of adjustments and I had to give tiny, gentle taps to make it get to where I wanted it to me, unlike the button circular one in which the bubble moves as expected. But like I said, levels in photography to me are not an issue and as long as that bubble can get close, the laser lever will do the rest. After that it’s just lock it and use the tilt to put the line where I want it to go. I am very happy with the quality of this tripod for the price and have no problems recommending it to anyone looking to buy a completely adequate tripod for whatever reason.

Great Value Tripod
I have a camera tripod, but it is somehwere else and I needed one in a hurry. I saw this one, and chose a "Used Like New" option for just over 12 quid. The tripod is in perfect condition, just a dent in the generic brown box. The tripod is nice and light - and has a standard/typical design, with telescopic, locking legs to adjust height. It comes in a plastic zip-up case, which is reasonably sturdy and has enough room for a small accessory or two (like my phone mount). I'm very happy with this, it is great value, works well and it got me out of a hole.

decent for the price
ive been using this tripod for about a year and a half now, im giving it 4 stars as it doesn't feel the most durable and the extender part has unfortunately misaligned with the crank handle meaning it sticks out to the side when fully collapsed making it harder to store in the carry bag, the height of the tripod is very good and has come in handy, there's been times where i have to use it on uneven ground and its nice and easy to extend each leg to keep my camera level, its nice and easy to setup just by loosening the clips and stretching out the legs, for the price i cant complain much its served me well and hopefully i don't have any more issues with it

Lightweight and sturdy, excellent for the price.
Let me start by saying I am an avid photographer and have 2 other tripods. My favourite is over 20 years old, but is one of the sturdiest I have ever found and will not change it. That said it is very heavy and cumbersome so not very suitable for mobile shots so I wanted something lighter that I could effectively not worry about if lost etc. I ordered this when it was on offer and am very happy I did. The tripod comes well packaged in a plain box which literally contains the Tripod and carrying case and nothing else. No superfluous packaging or materials. It is lightweight, and the carry bag has an adjustable strap so you can sling it over your shoulder when on the move. It is made of a fairly cheap feeling material and I'm not sure of it's longevity, but perfectly useable. On to the tripod itself. This feels very sturdy for such a cheap model. The three legs are fully adjustable and there are two spirit bubbles to assist with levelling the platform. It uses a latch system on the extending legs which again feels quite sturdy, although I have only used it a few times so again I'm not certain of longevity. The mount uses a quick release system very similar to a couple of others I have useful if moving about and for quick setup and teardown if you leave it on your equipment. I've stated the tripod is lightweight and my only gripe if I had to have one is it can feel a little top heavy if using with heavy equipment. Obviously for most tripod photography this isn't a problem but even though it is solid the top heavy feeling can reduce confidence when in use. It doesn't inspire the same confidence that I have in my main tripod, but as this cost less than £20 when I bought it and my original cost roughly that over 20 years ago I wouldn't expect it to. I would happily recommend this product and indeed already have to a couple of friends. This is my honest an unbiased review, although it was on offer it was a general offer and I was not given a discount in return for a favourable review. Great addition to my photography gear.
I'm really glad I picked up this tripod. It's been an amazing addition to my photography gear. The tripod is super versatile and adjustable. It collapses down into a small compact tripod, easily fitting into rucksacks or bags. It can extend in 3 stages, and turns into a full size tripod. The tripod is super lightweight, but very sturdy and stable once set up. I have used it for my compact digital camera, as well as my DSLR camera, both have been fine on the tripod. It comes with a mount for the camera, which should fit pretty much any camera out there with a standard tripod slot. Once the camera is on the tripod, there full adjustment on the direction, vertical and horizontal angle. Its a great tripod. Very simple and easy to use.

Decent Budget Tripod – Does the Job for Casual Use
Picked up the Amazon Basics 60-inch tripod for my camera and binoculars, and for the price, it’s actually pretty decent. Lightweight and easy to carry about with the included bag, which is handy if you’re out and about. The legs extend smoothly and it’s stable enough on flat ground, though I wouldn’t trust it in strong wind or on uneven surfaces – it’s not exactly professional-grade. The head is a bit plasticky but swivels nicely and holds the camera steady for photos and videos. Perfect for hobby use, family photos or a bit of stargazing, but if you’re doing serious photography you’ll probably want something sturdier. For the money though, can’t complain.
