I have been very impressed with Active iron supplement. I tried these because I had previously had a bad experience with a different iron supplement brand. It caused me to feel very sick, and so I tried Active because it stated that they didn't cause nausea. They didn't cause me any problems, so I would highly recommend the Active brand. They arrived swiftly, well packed and neat. My only critique is the price. They could be a bit cheaper, given how we are all having to tighten our belts. But, providing the price doesn't go higher, I will stick with Active. I'd highly recommend the product, overall.

Felt tired all the time, was a struggle to try and get out of bed on my alarm. Had a blood test came back low iron. I purchased these as I also have bowl issues, didnt want the tablets to mess me up even more. After almost 2 weeks I have noticed a difference. I'm not as tired as I was, my skin looks better, i definitely have more energy when I'm at work. I sleep better and actually feel like I've had a good nights sleep. Also my tummy is alot better, I dont have trapped wind and horrid tunmy pain as bad as I did, its calmed down. I just feel better in myself, happy, not down like I was. Dont expect to see results straight away, you need to let your body adjust, slowly you will see that difference and feel so much better..

I bought these after being prescribed standard ferrous fumarate for mild iron deficiency in pregnancy. I struggled with the gastrointestinal side effects - constipation, dark stool etc. These have less of a side effect profile and I’ve found them easier on my stomach. I think they still cause a degree of constipation but this is hard to tell if you’re pregnant anyway! Haemoglobin has stayed stable. Remember to take with vitamin C to promote absorption. The one negative I’d have to mention is that they smell bad!! It’s not a huge problem as you swallow it quickly but is a little off putting esp if pregnant / nauseated - can smell on your fingers afterwards.

I have been using these iron tablets for a long time, and they are the only ones I am able to keep down. Very gentle on the stomach, with a noticeable improvement on my energy levels throughout the day.

Easy to swallow. Did mot upset my stomach like some Iron tablets do.

Sadly made me itch really badly. As soon as I stopped taking it, itching stopped but it WAS gentle on the stomach

Didn’t really notice any difference energy wise but it didn’t upset my stomach or cause any stool complications.
