Brilliant for children
This book is fabulous, particularly for slightly younger children as they love finding and lifting the flaps to see the scenes underneath. Aimed ideally at Key Stage 2, this book is a godsend for helping with homework or with learning more about history. Packed full of facts and covers Roman Britian, right through to the 1960's. My fifteen year old found the pages about the Second World War particularly fascinating as she is learning about this in GCSE History.

We have quite a few of the ‘See Inside’ book series and we are always impressed with the content and quality. This one is no different. The hardback cover is great for little hands and the flaps inside are made out of thick card to reduce the likelihood of any tears from over eager little hands!!! This specific book covers the different periods of British history from the Middle Ages and whilst none of it is covered in great detail it is really lovely dip in and out of for unusual facts. The pages don’t look like they have a great amount of information on them at first glance but once you have opened all of the facts there is quite a lot and our 8 year old was really engaged with it. We would definitely recommend as we would the other books in the series!

Got my 10 year old grandson very interested , and as it was a subject he was doing at school he spent a long time enjoying this well thought out book. Even put his tablet computer down !!

I cannot get enough of these Usborne books !!! I started to look into children s book only 8.months ago ( my child ha 8 month old ;)) and i m hooked on these series! My litttle girl has the 'see inside', look nside, peep inside seriea almost completed and Now i am getting her the 'lift the flap very first questions'series.. i love them !
