Awesome product
I spent a long time looking for a laptop backpack that could cater to my 2012 Dell XPS 17 with the extended battery and it took a while to find one that met my needs. I recently changed jobs and walking to work with a full graphic design load-out in my Wenger Saturn messenger bag was causing me back problems! As I walk to work this bag features a rain cover that is stored in a pocket at the bottom of the bag, the base is made of a more rigid material to give it a good base and the ability to fully open the main compartment is handy for finding cables and other gear. The main compartment features a good selection of pockets to keep everything organised and I am able to carry far more and lay my hands on gear far quicker than my old bag. The load balancing harness is easy to use and the chest strap is a lifesaver when you're carrying heavier loads. The top handle is reinforced and there's an additional handle to make loading the bag into a vehicle easier. I wouldn't advise using this bag to walk more than a couple of miles with a heavy load as it does not feature a waist strap to carry the load on your hips (but it's not designed as a hiking bag either!). The laptop compartment has a soft microfibre lining and easily fits the XPS 17, you get the added bonus of the laptop being against your back allowing you to carry oddly shaped items without them being uncomfortable. I put the laptop in with the protruding battery facing away from me and it fits comfortably. As part of a promotional video they show the bag being filled with a range of gear and I can confirm the bag holds a massive amount of equipment. The game console case is a nice touch but I haven't got any use for it, it's made just as well as the main bag and doesn't feel like a "throwaway" item. The case has a good layer of foam to protect your console if you should need to carry one with you anywhere. On a side note a typical work day will see me carrying: Dell XPS 17, 130W Adapter, Mobile adapter, various cables, Wacom Intuous Pro M, DSLR and 2 lenses, external hard drive, multi card reader, usb hub & adapter, 2 pencil cases, sketch pads and a folder with various other bits stashed in the other external compartments. The materials are great and the bag looks awesome, the bright orange highlights might be a bit loud for some people but it matches my company colours so I love it!, there's a lot of additional detail that gives this bag character which as a designer is important for me. I would recommend this bag to anyone looking for something that looks and performs great, the price is likely to put a lot of buyers off but if you're a professional or hardcore gamer with an expensive machine spending a little more to protect it is well worth the investment.

Great bag, lifetime warranty, what's not to like!
This bag has served me really well for over a year and still no sign of damage, the amount of stuff i can fit in it is unbelievable, someone was even shocked, but sometimes on trains their has been heads bumped. I mainly use this bag for travelling if i need something bigger than a backpack and want to take my laptop, i don't really use the inner bag for any thing except storage of delicate items at home, normally it doesn't come with me. It fits my 17inch laptop fine and a load of uni books, has several compartments, ive even lost stuff in their before. The inside padding is meant for console and i reckon a PS4 and Xbox one will most likely fit comfortably. Their are no cons for me, only pro's. -Lifetime Warranty, people have said theirs has been replaced. - Rainproof cover which hides away nicely and is easy to put on, been tested in several storms works fine. - Loads of compartments and the main back space is excellent. It's that spacious ive had laptop and charger pack in the back, wash kit, pair of shoes, several shirts and trousers in it and then space in the side to fit beats and extra's! does also have MP3 line but haven't used it as prefer that in my pocket.

Quality laptop bag
awesome bag. I needed a new bag that can old my 17 inch laptop and also hold books and 2 drinks bottles both hot and cold. This bag is far superior to any bag I have ever used. The laptop fit at the back where the straps are. The middle compartment is designed to hold consoles but if you removed the console bag it has loads of room for books, tablets and other various items. The front of the bag also holds small items. There are 2 side pockets and a front pocket without a zip. When loaded with my items it is comfortable to on the back and also feels light considering the amount of items I have in it. Worth every penny.

Good bag for a large laptop
After buying my MSI GT72, I found that it was so large that finding a bag for it came difficult. Along came the Everki Beacon and solved that issue for me. It fits snuggly into the dedicated compartment, with plenty of room else where for various accessories you might want to bring along with you. After using it for several months now it is still as rugged as when I first purchased it, I highly recommend this bag to anyone who has a very large laptop.

Probably the best backpack I've had......
I don't write many reviews......but felt I had to on this occasion. I'm a mobile, electronic musician who travels constantly teaching, dj'ing etc. and therefore backpacks have become massively important to me. I have searched for AGES to find a strong, practical, yet cool and great looking backpack. I've finally found it with this this backpack. I won't bore you with specifics, but let me just say it's brilliantly made, top quality, slim yet well padded and unique. It's large (a good thing), but also sleek. I have owned SO many backpacks - but this top of the list, even above crumpler. You won't regret buying it - I'm about to purchase another one for when this one wears out!

nice backpack. bit enough to take 17" touch screen
nice backpack. bit enough to take 17" touch screen. lots of pockets for storage. Downside is the back system is just a flat piece of foam and the straps are basic. If they put a nicer back/strap system in place then it would get 5*

Fantastic backpack!
bought this to carry my 17 inch gaming laptop to and from work that was too big for all the other backpacks i have come across. I used to cycle 5 miles each way and held out fantastically. It gives it loads of protection and also allows you to carry a surprising amount extra stuff. comes with an Xbox? bag so is also able to carry that if you feel the need to take your Xbox with you when you head out. I also use it when i go on holiday and have had about 20KG of stuff in it and shows no wear and tear. very well made, looks good and is comfortable, even when full and carrying a large gaming laptop

This bag can literally hold my entire life in here. The material is durable, and the zippers are top notch. There are plenty of compartments, and the contrast in colour with the orange interior is simple yet brilliant. Never again will you be searching for your things inside of a black on black bag. It's always the little things in life that make all the difference isn't it? If you are planning on packing this bag to the brim, lay it on the strap side facing down, then make use of the easy clip off feature to fully open it. Much easier to pack a ton of stuff than if it is lying "up". It is comfortable over long distances with quite a heavy load, and the weather resistant cover inside of the "secret stash" pocket ensures you are never worried about expensive electronics within it. The only trouble I had with Everki was deciding which bag to buy! Now I know I'll buy a couple of their other models as well! Do yourself a favour, grab one of these bags! * Update - it's been 4 months and this bag has held up to a lot of abuse. It carries SO much stuff I can't iterate this enough! My only issue is figuring which Everki bag to buy next as I literally want all of them =) * ** Update as of Dec 2019 - This backpack is STILL FLAWLESS. It has now gone on a Europe trip where it was my only bag for the entire time. It fit enough clothes for 3 weeks, plus everything else! (Yes it was a bit heavy lol). Till this day all the zippers are in perfect shape, and even after all it’s been through, there isn’t a single rip or hole anywhere. I can’t say enough about this brand. Bravo 👏 **

I know that there are very few cases that fit the new larger 18.4" laptops and this one does, at least it fits my new Acer Aspire Ethos AS8951G-9630, although just barely. When zipping up both sides I kinda have to shift the laptop slightly in the bag to clear the corners, but unzipping isn't an issue. Perhaps once its had some time to settle zipping up won't be either. If you are going to be hauling an xbox around in this be aware that while the console will fit without problems in their nifty orange envelope, once you put the power supply and other cables in the main pouch there isn't much room left for things like controllers and headsets (especially if you have nicer, bulkier headsets). Also, there are only 2 pouches in the main area which are the right size to hold optical media (cd, dvd, bluray) and while the pouch is large enough to hold media in a standard cd case there is only minimal lining on the side that faces the inside of the main pouch. It seems like they could have made that more protective. I mean, I know we're moving away from optical media as a culture and moving towards downloaded media, but if I'm lugging around a large screen laptop and a video game console it seems likely that I'll be carrying around some optical media. Whether I'm toting video games, cds, dvds or blurays it'd be nice to not have to lug them around in their cases which are typically much larger and eat up more space. It wouldn't have been hard to integrate optical media storage into the console sleeve and you could probably fit a dozen or so disks per side using a layered pattern in the ilk of sun visor cd holders. Every other laptop bag I've ever had has these (I checked). That said, that's my only real negative. The front pouch is a bit odd with a single slightly off-center vertical zipper but I've not yet decided if I like or don't like this. It seems like a convenient way to get to the bottom of the pouch without letting everything fall out, but only time will tell if this is actually useful or just annoying. On the positive side, the build quality on this backpack is fantastic. It has a high quality feel and when being worn as a backpack there is hardly any orange color visible (I consider this a good thing... when not being worn the entire back is orange and the backpack becomes highly visible which is also good). The handles on the top and front are both very sturdy for when you need to pick the bag with one or two hands and move quickly. The shoulder straps are sturdy and well padded and are adjustable to my size (I am not tiny). In the end this case has everything I need and most of what I want. I am gonna buy a cd case and be very very happy.
