Is there a limit on how long you can keep the butter if refrigerated?

It will last longer the more buttermilk you remove You will need to wash the butter properly to remove it Or the butter will only last about a week If you remove the buttermilk it will last as long as regular butter

Could I use raw full cream milk?

You can use RAW full fat cream but i don't think it would work with just milk (not enough fat)

Could I use thick milk kefir
