A good foundation for Kanji.
A very useful practice book for those who have learned hiragana and katakana and are ready to move on to kanji. Simple to follow, and uses the most common kanjis. A good foundation. Recommended.

Easy practise book
Easy practise book. For hints on how to remember kanji, best go to a book written by non-Japanese. They know the problems and can suggest ways round them.

Best Buy, perfect condition, just buy it
I bought this book second hand like I do most. I have been buying second hand for the last 10 or so years and I can honestly say, this book wasn’t like new. I’m sure it was completely new, it looks like it was printed just yesterday, no wear or tear, I doesn’t even look like it’s been touched!

This is a very well laid out practice book. It gives both the on and kun meanings of the kanji and has plenty of practice spaces. I'm not actually writing in the book however as I have a separate notebook of plain kanji grids. But it is very helpful to have the stroke order laid out and examples you can trace over in order to get the feel of how your pen should go. I especially like that it has all of the kanji that will be featured on the JPTL test for level 5, so you can focus on those and improve your chances of passing.

Very pleased with this book. It shows the stroke order and you get just over 100 kanji to practice. I got sticky dots and tracing paper to put over each page so I can practice forever, easier than photocopying the page. There’s a simple short intro on stroke order and history, then it gets straight to the kanji practice, then later on combination kanji practice. It’s clear, easy to use and not to big and heavy to carry around.
