Simple but valuable
This is a simple book with lots of sketches and photos. It looks like it was written for a juvenile reader, but it filled with a lot of basic information that was not in some of the adult looking books on this subject that I also bought. Some bean sprouts you should not eat raw. I did not know that. Definitely a book for the newbie who wants to learn about sprouting and microgreens. Borrowed it from the library. Started taking notes and marking pages to copy. Looked at all the markers I had and decided it was better just to buy the book. I'm still a novice grower, and I pick this up often and review it.

So simple and so thorough! Great book!
It’s exactly what I was looking for. To the point, simple, and thorough. You don’t really need anything else when it comes to sprouting.

Great Visuals!
I loved the book because of the real life photographs and step by step picture illustrations. I personally learn better by seeing information visually. So for me, this book was extremely helpful. If you are looking for in depth information on spouting, then this book is not for you. If you are looking for information that is straight to the point about explaining how to begin sprouting, in my opinion, this is a great place to start.

Very informative. Excellent for beginners and experienced.
Excellent book that explains different ways to grow sprouts and micro greens from seed. Explains which types of seeds are best for each method and when a method is not appropriate. Teaches how to grow, then dry and make into flour for some grains. Explains the nutritional benefits for sprouts and micro greens.

I love this little book. Reading it brought back all the memories and fun of when I grew sprouts with my mother as a child.

Useful little book
I have just recieved this book.It was what I was looking for and then some. I have Anne wigmores sprouting book, but wanted something more updated as I have been over the summer, due to the covid, trying to get back into sprouting and fermenting things, to improve my immunity, through better nutrition and gut health.I have recieved this book yesterday, and after looking through it I realise that it will be more useful than I thought for these reasons.1. It is packed with colour pictures .2. It tells you how to sprout beans, seeds and grains.3. It tells you the best ones to sprout and shows them in their pre sprouting, and post sprouting stages using pictures. (I have never sprouted grain before)4. It also gives information on soaking tand sprouting time, how much to use and yield.6. It gives informations on various sprouting equipment, cleaning your equipment and the seeds. I did not know that I was supposed to clean the seeds first.7. How to make sprouting flour.8.There is also 20 vegetarian/vegan recipes sugestions with pictures, breakfasts, lunches and mains.I am excited about this purchase.

All you need to know
Just the job to start our sprouting journey. This is a brief book, at just 70 pages, but covers the basics and more with plenty of photos. The key beans, seeds and grains are covered, including how long to soak, and then sprout, and what yield to expect.Details on the different equipment options are provided and lots of tips for success. All of that is done in 27 pages, with the rest of the book given over to 20 recipes, three of which are suggested sprouting combinations, and the rest are regular recipes, which in our case made us even more keen to get started.Although this is a short book I think it contains everything you need to get going, and if you were doubting whether sprouting is for you, this positive book will convince you.

Very good book, for someone starting to sprout at home
this book is very well written, easy to understand, everything is explained simply, with out being condescending. It is as suitable for an adult, as well as children probably from about age 8, although my son would have understood it perfectly well, at a younger age. There are clear pictures, explaining a lot of the information. It isn't a long book, doesn't take long to read, but definitely packed with a lot of information.A very useful addition, with some easy recipes to try.Worth the money.
