Good to have enough,at a very good price as expensive when bought form shops & supermarkets.I refill the empty tub bought with it in before, as keeps away from damp..This way I can have it for any use & making my own baking powder knowing what's in it.1 teasp. of this to 2 teasp. of cream of tartar,mixed well=baking powder.Labelled & with the 'use by date' on it.An rapid anti acid remedy for a burning stomach reaction,colic etc. after anything that causes stomach pain after eating rich food,or if react to something eaten etc. ,as works very quickly to neutralise internal acid,I use 1 rounded tsp.. dissolve in a 1/4 of a cup of cold water,stirred quickly,swallowed,'down in one', immediately followed by a glass of water, to get rid of the gritty taste.Once swallowed not unpleasant in the journey through your stomach, & quickly relieves trouble.Advise checking what age is suitable for , as wouldn't think good for too young a child,or perhaps someone on medication,or with a chronic internal illness, without a pharmacist's advice.This has relieved an adverse reaction to a new medicine prescribed, that was worse than the complaint. I asked my chemist first.Other safe remedies read when I Googled,This immediately to hand,easy & safe to use externally.Would not advise drinking often, as destroys the vitamins in your food,whether added to tenderise tough veg. or swallowed , as described.Cheaper brands fine for cleaning purposes.This is mine for cooking & a medicinal back up,as more expensive,Some internal remedies on line aren't necessarily good to repeat,without checking first.

I just wanted some baking soda to clear the odour from some books that suffered mould damage. That’s all.Item arrived fine, but then so did a tonne of spam emails asking me to review the product. I dislike it when sellers do this. One email is fine, but three? Come on. I wasn’t planning on writing a review, but the quantity and content of the emails inspired me to do so.The first email was odd, congratulating me on making a great decision yesterday. Strange phrasing but okay.The second one was kind of stalkery, telling me that they could see that the item arrived and that they would love to hear my thoughts. Okay cool, please stop. The third, annoying with a tagline written all in caps screaming ‘HAVE I HELPED YOU’ told me that this is a small business and needs all the reviews it can get, and that there is a ‘hubby and 2 young boys’ to support.I don’t care. I’m one of the thousands of people who hate the word hubby, and please don’t use the fact that you have children as a device to try to manipulate me into giving you a 5 star review. You’re not special just because you have children.By the way, the product didn’t remove the smell from the books, despite being drenched in it in an airtight box for 4 days. So thanks for that. This might as well be flour. In fact it could be just flour.I heeded your words and left you a review. Now for the love of whatever, please leave me alone and stop spamming me.

Great value

I am so happy to have purchased this product. I received it in great condition. There are many uses for bicarbonate of soda. I chose this company because the product is Aluminium free and pure. It's great for helping to keep the body alkaline. It's energy giving too. I use it first thing in the morning before brushing my teeth because the body becomes acidic from all the various functions that happen when we are sleeping, drinking a tiny amount in warm water first thing helps alkalise the body which boosts the detoxification and immunity of the body. Wait 30 minutes before eating anything. PS. Coffee and Diary are acidic....avoid this first thing in the morning. Have porridge instead with fruits and nuts. Hope you find this review helpful and please do some research before internal use.

it's too soon to pass a comment and still in it's packaging.neither am i an expert to compare brands -yet - so it would be unfair to comment ( hence three stars ) ...but it's great to have this said " 100 % pure brand " as that reference point and " standard" to compare with other brands later.. I am glad of the choice purchase, thus far. But in my humble opinion now without direct experience - i can't comment really. :/

I use it for cleaning

Great service. The product was just what we were after and has been perfect for the use we have been putting it to. In fact it has been so successful that we may have to buy another 1kg in another few days! Delivery was next day.If they expand their range into spices etc we will be interested as we are a family of 14.

I use this product for my drains...when mixed with distilled vinegar it is a fantastic and natural drain unblocker as well as an odour eliminator. I was spending a lot of money buying the small tubs used for baking from the supermarket so I'm really pleased I came across this on Amazon. Very good value for money and a good quality product.
