I'm not using to store food, but instead to make Pokemon packs to pass out to the neighborhood kids and they love them! I got the exact size I needed thanks to the accurate description and I love that it's heat sealable WITHOUT ziplock. This way, the kids can tear the bag open and have the same experience opening a real Pokemon pack. I ordered a few different types of bags and returned all except this one, since it had the best durable feel and color. I will definitely be ordering more!

The sealing process is unreliable, resulting in air leakage and a compromised vacuum seal.Unreliable Tear Notches: The tear notches provided on the bags are ineffective. They are either too weak or improperly positioned, making it challenging to open the bags without damaging the contents.Lack of Odor Protection: The packaging claims to be suitable for sealing in odors, but it fails to deliver on this promise. The bags do not effectively prevent smells from leaking out, which can be a significant issue when storing food items or other aromatic products.Flimsy Thickness: The thickness of the bags is mentioned as 0.08mm (3.1 mil) on one side. Unfortunately, this thinness compromises the durability and overall quality of the bags. They feel insubstantial and are prone to tearing, making them unreliable for long-term storage.Overall, the 100 Pieces White Metallic Mylar Foil Open Top Sealable Bags from PABCK are a disappointing purchase. The poor quality, unreliable closures, ineffective tear notches, lack of odor protection, and flimsy thickness make them unsuitable for their intended purpose. I would not recommend these bags for food storage or any other packaging needs. Look for alternative options that offer better quality and functionality.

I use these to hold 50 gram bags of desiccant after I recharge them so that they stay dry and ready for their next use. The 4.7x7.1 inch size are perfect for this use, leaving enough room for a good heat seal. They work perfectly with my Magic Seal MS400 Vacuum Sealer, in "nozzle" mode with a 10 second seal time. I really like the easy tear open end, so I don't have to cut the bag open (and risk hitting the desiccant bag) as I did with standard small freezer vacuum seal bags that I used to use.
