Cheap but useful
Decent quality screen, build quality is a little questionable (being able to see the screen light through a gap in the plastic casing) but for the price, it's acceptable. Certainly a lot better than relying on the GoPro app!

Works with Hero 2
FANTASTIC!!!!! Works with Hero 2, brought my old go pro back to life. Screen is very clear. I did firmware update before use and it works perfectly

Works well.
Water resistant inside waterproof camera housing only. Works well as expected but drains battery quickly. I only use to set up a video shoot then snap on a battery extension. Good price too.

Very Poor Quality LCD
I bought this for my old Hero 3+ as it does not have a builtin display. I also have a hero 6 black. What I noticed immediately is that the picture quality of this BackPack is nowhere close to the quality of the Hero 6 LCD. I bought this based on the positive comments here. Now I realise they all are lies or simply they dont know the quality of the GoPro LCD so they dont have an experince of comparing the two. For someone who has not seen a GoPro 6 screen this might be the best addition, but for me I would use the cam without this display.Because, in the outside with sunlight you literally cant see anything on this screen. I set the screen brightness to FULL. Still you cant see it. I have set the screen brightness of my GoPro LCD to 50% to save battery, still its far more clear under the sun.Next, the viewing angles are aweful. I wanted to use this in a gimbal. So, i might have to raise the gimbal or lower it to get the perfect shoct. The minute I move it away from my eye level, you cannor see anything on the screen. I think this is because of the screen technology. Somehow, I NEVER experience this on the GoPro screen.This is not that cheap either. So, unless you want to use this screen away from bright day light, and you want to always takes pics/vid on eye level, I do not recommend this.
