Easy to use and looks great when completed

I gave up dye-ing my hair when I was pregnant with my son, and planned to keep it that way til he was done nursing, too...but then he continued longer than I expected, and I was just waiting for the first person to ask about my "grandbaby" (I was 40 when I had him but had started going grey at 25!) so I broke down and looked for a more "natural" permanent hair dye, free from harmful chemicals, and this is what I found. I expected to have to dye more often with a natural product and was resigned to do so....but it wasn't necessary! It does mellow a bit (and I like it better after it does, personally, since I'm looking for a more natural look) but it lasts just as long as the mainstream hair dyes and I redo when my roots show like usual. I will continue to use this brand even after I'm done nursing!

The color did not last a week and it start turning my a rusty brown.

Switched to this after body art quality henna ruined and dried out my hair. My hair was really damaged after henna and it would break a lot. I love the copper blond it looks a lot like henna after it fades a bit with no damage. It's gentle enough to use two weeks after a keratin treatment. Leaves hair super shiny and the color does not fade ( I co-wash only ).

I've been using Herbatint for years. I love the color choices they have available and the kit is easy to use.

I've used this for over a year, and have been using real powder henna prior to this. I chose this because real henna was making my red/grey hair much too orange. I achieved the most beautiful hair color with this color as well as a color in the 10 color range. The whole reason I used henna, and this product was that I wanted a natural, non-chemical product. After much research, I went with this brand with positive color results.Here's the bad: DO NOT KEEP ON YOUR HAIR LONGER THAN THE 40 MINUTES ON THE INSTRUCTIONS. So one day, I got distracted, and figuring it was a natural henna, which you can leave on for hours with no negative results, I probably left it on for about 50 minutes... This is what happened: My scalp was burned and I developed painful scabs all over. The next 2 weeks, my hair began to fall out in clumps. I now have about half the pony tail that I had. Now about a month later, parts of my scalp still hurt, and my hair is still falling out in large quantities.Again, I did some research, and determined, that this isn't truly an all natural product as it originally was. It is chemical ridden, and my hair may not ever grow back in the areas of those scabs because the follicle was damaged.

Made my hair feel great! It felt healthy instead of damaged as many other products have. End color results were very close to expected. Many other products I’ve used have been a total guessing game. I would recommend.

This seems like a safer alternative to some hair dyes and I like the results. The color is darker than the description, but I don't know if this is common for the product or due to my hair type. It covers gray well.
