Love it
Very sweet. Lovely message. I bought it for my 6month old...obviously he doesn't understand the book now. It's more for the illustrations. But later on the message will an important one. Families come in all forms.

A firm fav!
We have a very diverse family and I wanted my son to have books that reflected that. This book did exactly that in a colourful and lovely way. I have brought 'It's ok to be different' because I loved this book so much and that again has become a much loved book. My only criticism is that I thought for some reason that it was a hard back book and it isn't. Probably my fault for not reading the description. The pictures are colourful and fun with lots to talk about and the words are simple, inclusive and accepting. This is a much loved bedtime discussion piece for a 6 and 7 year old and entertainment for a 7 month old!

Bright, Simple and Matter-of-Fact
Like that it covers lots of different types of family. No hierarchical order; pictures are vibrant; text simple enough to be able to keep it simple or elaborate as much as you like. I'm a single parent and my daughter is adopted so will be helpful on reinforcing message that families come in all shapes, sizes and varieties. Nice.

Lovely book
I bought this book after seeing it in my sons nursery and I just love it. Great price too. Whilst my son isn't at the age to understand it yet, I find it very inclusive, educational and I love how colourful it is. My son loves flipping the pages and pointing out all the babies and families. Great purchase!

Lovely, fun, and important book. My 2 year old can't get enough of it.
Great book, very colorful, sweet and fun. My 2 year old can't get enough of it. We love the message, and the values it conveys in such a clear and simple way: respect, tolerance, openness, fun... I love seeing how it helps my daughter develop her empathy.
