Q: CAn I put these straight straight ont my compost heap?

Yes you can, as long as you wash off any cooked/uncooked food. If you don't you may attract rats.

Q: Are they good before chilli? And stovies?

Stovies should be OK if not too sloppy, ditto chilli they're OK for soup, after all. Not much chance of re-use, though

Q: What colour are they?

They are an off white colour. Like an unbleached sort of white/cream if that makes sense!

Q: Are these paper bowls or sugarcane?

Sorry - I don't know. I buy for function rather than provenance. Can the manufacturer advise ?
