This product should honestly come as a standard package with any chair. After two years, my chair started sinking randomly, so I decided to try this out—and I’m very satisfied! Good - but you might need a wrench
I chose this because it would not be unattractive when installed - with obvious screws or clips etc. I was concerned when I put the modules on my chair as I couldn't manage to close them. I presumed that the stem of my chair was too large. However, I found that by using a pipe wrench I was able to close them. Once closed, I am very happy with the result.

Four pieces of cheap looking rubber pipe ?After this I bought another gas strut and binned these these useless itemsA replacement gas strut is not much more expensive and is easy to buy on Amazon and super easy to fit.
