When I received the item we found it was half missing and we’d been sent half of another product?! Also there was no fixing pack/instructions?! I got in touch with company via Amazon who asked me a few questions, apologised and then resent the whole item again. The island is of great quality for the money, no issue with cupboard doors meeting (previous reviews). Although not a perfect transaction I have rated it a full 5 stars due to how the company resolved my issue and the quality of the item. Love that you can move it if needed and fab additional storage.

Love the design, good delivery time. Two boxes a day apart tho. All pieces were there, and the assembly instruction were very easy to follow. However there is a half inch gap between the cupboard doors. Tried readjusting hinges but it just left a gap at the sides. Contacted supplier, very pleasant to deal with. They offered to send a whole new package to take what I needed and they would arrange a return. The doors are quoted as the same dimensions so I think it's a design fault. The doors are also a little on the flimsy side, but ok. The unit itself is so useful though, and otherwise very sturdy and stylish. I love it - I'll get created to solve the gap in the door.

This takes a bit of time to put together but it's worth the time. I left the small shelf and pole off either side so that it fitted more snugly in my kitchen but I really like it. Only criticism I have is the doors refuse to stay aligned and there is a gap between them now but it still looks OK.

This was not an easy build and you definitely need 2 people to do it properly. But all the effort is worth it as you get a really amazing, sturdy cabinet for your kitchen with lots of storage. I also want to add that the customer service is a 20/10! We had an issue with one of the panels and they were very kind to send me out a replacement and I am very grateful for that, thank you Joan for all your help :)

I rarely write reviews but was so pleased with this item, I felt I should. It arrived a few days before due date which was nice. Instructions easy to follow. The item was do well constructed that all the pieces went together easily (not always my typical experience with flat pack). The product itself is solid as well as stylish. Just love the shinning steel top surface. It is not huge but sits nicely in an average sized retangular kitchen (not suited to a galley kitchen). The foldable/ extendable flap makes it very practical and functional. Really pleased I bought it adding a bit if class to my kitchen.

This item took a long time to construct. I am well versed in assembling flat packs. The top hung about 2 cms on a slope and there was a gap between the doors. There was a gash in one of the panels and the top was tarnished where the cellophane cover had worn off. Also it doesn’t seem very sturdy, it topples with the flap down. I Asked for a refund and still haven’t received any money back!

The only downside was the rather flimsy back board which is directly under the pull out extension.This is going to get damaged easily if kicked by anybody using stools. The only minor quibble is the slidders for the draws are not clearly marked and can be mounted the wrong way.All other assembly was eady to follow.

looks good and is relatively simple to build. But the whole unit when the lift-up panel is extended makes the unit want to tip. Once items are loaded into the cupboard, this becomes less likely. The other issue is that there is a decorative groove that is 2 mm wide and collects dirt and is very difficult to clean out as it is so thin. Aesthetically it is very good looking unit and many persons have admired it.
